Here you are connected to the outside beauty within the amazing comforts of this mountain lake home. See the stars above or wake up beside the lake with a cup of coffee. You'll find everything you need to rest, relax, and recharge. Our charming lakefront home offers a perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and make memories with family and friends.

THE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE

This is where you'll spend your time. We've created spaces for true relaxation and memory-making.

Your Private Lakefront: Steps and path leads you from the cabin door directly to the water's edge of pristine Sleepy Hollow Lake. You have your own private dock—the perfect spot for sipping morning coffee as the mist sits over the water, casting a fishing line in the quiet afternoon, or launching our complimentary canoe for a peaceful paddle. The water is clear and refreshing for a swim on a warm day.

A Secluded Wooded Lot: Our cabin is nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by nature. Other houses are scattered off through the woods but you’ll likely see more deer than people from the cabin. Enjoy the privacy and the feeling of having the woods to yourself. The huge deck space is perfect to sit and relax with friends and family at all hours.

Spaces to Unwind:

The Deck(s): Overlooking the lake, the spacious deck is furnished with comfortable seating, perfect for reading a book or simply watching the sunlight dapple on the water. The upper deck is furnished with comfortable seating, a fire pit, and a grill for making memories and entertaining guests.

The Screened Porch: The screened in porch area is a great secondary space for outside enjoyment and includes a large dining table, perfect for outdoor insect free meals. There’s also a trundle bed on the screened in porch that is perfect for a sleeping space on cool nights.

THE CABIN

Step inside to a cozy, clean, and comfortable haven. The interior features a fully-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 lofts with memory foam beds and quality linens, a screened-in porch for bug-free evenings. While designed for you to disconnect, we do offer Wi-Fi, a 65-inch TV, and a small TV/kids area in one of the lofts for your convenience.

We had a very relaxing stay. The wifi was not working but that just allowed us to immerse ourselves in our surroundings. Being in the woods and so close to the water was very serene and our dog loved exploring. There were a few ants in the kitchen and spider webs around the house and on the deck, but that is to be expected when you are surrounded by woods. It didn't bother us. I would recommend this location for anyone who is looking to get out of town for a few days and find some tranquility.

We are from the Baltimore/DC area and love coming out to this property often. It is a quick get-a-way for us, wonderfully secluded and there's so much to do around the lake and within a 20-minute drive.

Why they chose this property

We chose the neighborhood because of the community access lake and outdoor excursions nearby. Even though the property has its own private dock, there are community docks and beach area that are restricted to residents and guests. The area is tranquil and relaxing any season, either enjoying the lake on a warm day or staying cozy by a fire on a cold one.

What makes this property unique

Our home on the small Sleepy Hollow Lake is a such a tranquil place. Wake up with a morning coffee and step out onto the deck to start your day or venture down the stairs and path to sit by the water. Nearby adventures await with one of my favorite short hiking trails right in the neighborhood or just enjoy the lake. Venture beyond the neighborhood for wineries, breweries, farmer's markets, a big lake (Sleepy Creek Lake), the Potomac River, and additional hiking. Dozens of things to explore and do nearby.
