NEW FLOORS, NEW PAINT, NEW FURNITURE IN 2022!!! The Davis Cottage is the top unit of a duplex situated directly on the water. The bottom unit is also a rental handled outside of Golden Isles Realty. There is a large deck, and when the tide is high the water will feel like it is right up to your toes! Some say this house has the best views on the island. You'll have to see for yourself how relaxing and calming it is to sit on the porch and watch the waves come up!
You really can’t get any closer to the Pier Village. The light house, Fun Zone, and many popular shops and restaurants are right next door. You will even be within walking distance to St. Simons' newest attraction - the pickleball courts! You'll never get bored staying here. Explore the island by renting bikes or a golf cart, or just relax on the beach! The Davis cottage has three bedrooms and two baths. The beds consist of 1 king, 1 queen and 3 twins. Additional cleaning fee is $200. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED.

Stayed her in 2012

Expect an old beach house. Right on the beach, good views, beach does disappear at high tide. This apartment is on the top floor so expect stairs. It is clean, not a gourmet kitchen but it gets the job done. The bathrooms are small. I would not want to stay here when someone is renting the bottom floor because it is not very sound proof but luckily no one stay below until the last night we were there. Close to playground, village and pier.

It is worth noting that the beach is gone with each high tide. The condition of the inside of the property is poor. Carpets in severe need of replacing, the ceiling had holes. Overall, the location made up for this, but updates could make this property perfect!

Best location around

Nothing fancy here just a clean please with an above average supply of kitchen tools. The location and view are the thing. This place is right on the water - no exaggeration.

Disappointed

If accommodations do not matter but you want to be on the water this is your place. Very tired and dated inside and cooking utensils needIng replacement. If you go, bring everything as nothing is offered. Best part was the porch, but bring your own chairs. We will not return.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very good trip. The trip could have been excellent, but there was a SAFETY HAZARD on the landing and my daughter sprained her ankle on the first day. The other issue is the porch furniture is in very POOR shape. The new porch and new AC were GREAT! This was our 10th anniversary trip and we will back!

Best view in St. Simons!

If you are looking for luxury, this isn't your place. But if you are truly seeking a true beach experience - you can't go wrong here. Between the ocean views, dolphin sightings, and the short walk to the village - it is perfect!
