Everything was as described and more picturesque than represented. I have already shared pictures and my recommendations on this property to several friends and coworkers.

Was truly th quiet, secluded, private escape that I was seeking, but with the space and homey feel that a hotel cannot provide.

Outstanding. Truly outstanding.

Cozy, Comfortable and a view to die for!

  • 5 of 5

A small group of us rented this house too observe the total eclipse of the sun that passed over Driggs, Idaho in August. It could not have been more perfect. The house itself is wonderfully situated on an open, flat plain, with an incredible view of the Teton Mountains that are accurately showed in the photographs of the house. The kitchen is nicely appointed and was easy to prepare meals together. We found the coffee maker was not in working order and a text message to the owners quickly brought the property manage with a replacement coffee maker within hours. They were kind to understand our need for morning coffee!

Just outside the kitchen eating area, is access to the covered porch, which wraps around three sides of the house. You can't help spending time hanging out there looking at the view, and we found it to be our preferred place for eating meals.

The house is one of two in a large open field planned for development, with easy access from Route 33 and about a mile from downtown Driggs. Driggs is charming and much less congested than Jackson Hole, which is on the other side of the Tetons, about 45 minutes away. Up the road is the Spud Drive-in Movie Theater, which you shouldn't miss. It's iconic as "roadside America" and you won't long forget the gigantic fiberglass potato sitting on a flatbed truck out front. It's all part of the charm of this friendly, welcoming community.

The beds are comfortable, the Master Suite fantastic, the living room and fireplace have rustic charm. It's the sort of house that feel like home five minutes after you arrive. We had a wonderful time!

August 2017

The house is in a beautiful location! The views are incredible and Driggs is a really cute town with lots to offer. The house was 85 degrees when we got there since all windows were closed and there is no A/C. Several windows couldn't be opened because screens were missing or broken. The carpets had stains all over them and there were spider webs/eggs/spiders all over the ceilings in all rooms of the house. There is a major infestation of earwigs. We were finding them in our beds, on the counters, in our clothes, etc. A fire alarm was missing from the main level and still had not been replaced. For the price we paid for the week I expected a higher level of quality and cleanliness. The house is great but needs a lot of work!

Owner's Response: Julie: I am sorry for your troubles at the house. As you know, we quickly responded to your each and every request. I wish there was more we could do about the earwigs. Unfortunately they were bad all over the valley this year and is just part of life in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. We had a super busy summer this year with guests and did need to have the carpets cleaned which we have done. We look forward to having you back. Fiske

This house was a mood changer

  • 5 of 5

Just finished three weeks in Teton Valley. This house was perfect for our extended stay. Love the decor as we do fly fish a lot. Getting a little tired and could use a deep clean. Best for us was the isolation from everything and the quite mornings and evenings and views that constantly change. Highly suggest consideration when looking for a place in Teton Valley.

Excellent place for summer vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This house does not disappoint. It was our second stay, and we highly recommend. The views from the house are amazing! This location is the best - you have the lower pace town of Driggs that has great restaurants and a wonderful local rodeo. Jackson is a short drive as well as Grand Targhee and Teton Village. The other great thing about being in Driggs is the easy access to Yellowstone. A day trip can be done to Yellowstone, and you can see a TON in one day. We love this area - so many activities or you can relax at the house and enjoy the indescribable views of the Tetons. We enjoyed being here over the 4th or July - it was quite warm this trip as the Valley was experiencing record setting heat, but we truly enjoyed spending a holiday in Wyoming/Idaho. The fireworks display in Driggs lasted 30 minutes and was one of the best I've ever seen. It could possibly be the be the best way to have your own private fireworks show from the porch/hot tub. The house is equipped with everything you need. Fully functional kitchen with a fabulous grocery store within a few miles. Our family is making a tradition of summer vacation here. You won't be disappointed! From nice linens to ample space, this house leaves no detail behind!

Grand Targhee Ski Resort

This spacious, newly remodeled home sits just minutes from downtown Driggs in Idaho's view corridor. Whether you take in the view from a cozy rocking chair on the porch or the outdoor hot tub, you will be in heaven gazing at the majestic Grand Teton!

Our home in Dry Creek Ranch is centered in the Teton Valley (or as my husband calls it 'the fly-fishing mecca' where young boys become men) with short drives to the South Fork, the Henry's Fork and the Teton River where you can catch cutthroats, brown trout, brook trout and rainbow trout.

If fly fishing isn't your thing, enjoy many other activties including horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, ATV rides or mountain biking.

With winter comes even more adventure, as this amazing home is minutes from epic powder skiing at Grand Targhee Ski Resort and a short drive over the pass to Jackson Hole Ski Resort. Also enjoy cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and tubing near by.

For the less adventurous types or if you just need to do some relaxing, we have that covered too! The house is equipped with 2 GIANT flat screen TV's and lounging areas, WIFI, multiple fireplaces, a fully stocked kitchen, cozy rockers for some porch sitting, and a outdoor hot tub.

Book now and start planning the journey to Dry Creek Ranch whatever time of year and the memories made will carry you through until your next visit!
