Unique and Spacious Artist's House 5 blocks from Main Street
This unique home used to be a granary! It has been converted to a beautiful, spacious and comfortable home by artists (us), with lots of interesting details, and you are also welcome to visit our glassblowing studio only a few steps away down the adjacent driveway. There are abundant South facing windows meaning good views and sunny warmth any time of year. Everything is included: washer and dryer and large TV, full kitchen, etc. The house is located only five blocks from Main Street, and two blocks from the Targhee Shuttle stop. The upstairs has the master bedroom and a half bath, along with a very large common room with TV and walk in closet. Plenty of open space for stretching out after a long day! The couch can be folded down for another bed if needed. There is a separate bedroom downstairs and a full bath with tub/shower, as well as the kitchen, dining room, and sitting room. The dining room looks south and east to the Grand Tetons and is a wonderful place to be anytime of day. The kitchen has a two person bar for relaxing while watching your friends cook for you. We think you'll love it here! The common space is warm and inviting and the bedrooms are cozy and private. Lots of interesting art and unique history and architecture make it a really fun place to stay for a night or a month or more. (30 years for us.) The location 5 blocks from Main Street means you can walk to everything, but still feel relaxed and safe in your own house with beautiful mountain views. And, of course, you are only a few steps from the glass shop which you can tour too.

Enjoyed our stay. Property is well maintained and clean. Away from the congestion of Jackson Hole. If the opportunity presents itself would stay again in the future
We loved our two night stay in Driggs! Thanks for such an excellent place to stay. We loved the new bathroom with washer and dryer, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen.
This is a lovely home within walking distance of downtown Driggs. The house was well stocked, clean, and the remodeled bathroom is beautiful. We were able to do some hiking in the Driggs area and also drive over to Jackson a couple of days to visit Grand Teton National Park and do some hiking there. Highly recommend this property.
Location is perfect for walking to town or taking ski bus to mountain! Ralph and Mary are fabulous hosts and their studio is an incredible bonus. Thank you for the Christmas tree and ornaments!
What an amazing house in a fabulous location with incredibly thoughtful hosts! Our family of four was able to walk to town and make the quick drive to ski hill. Really appreciate Ralph and Mary’s hospitality, even leaving us a Christmas tree to enjoy!
Our stay at the Granary cottage for 4 nights was very enjoyable. Location is great. Easy drive to Grand Targhee and Jackson. Driggs and Victor are both fun places with good restaurants to eat at. Quiet and scenic surroundings.. The house was very comfortable and well equipped and the hosts very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back.
This place was perfect for us. Clean, cozy, convenient and full of history and beauty. Ralph and Mary were excellent hosts. The house was built with love and hard work and you could see it in the craftsmanship and decor. We will be back. - Darron & Jenny Sparks
Beautiful and comforting. Great view of the backside of the Tetons. Had everything we needed including a pretty shower and yard. Perfect place to stay for exploring the Tetons ❤️Mary was very nice but never met Ralph. Would have liked to see studio but not enough time in our schedule
We stayed 6 nights in this lovely home. It was the perfect base camp for exploring a bit of Yellowstone as well as Grand Teton National Park and Jackson. We loved that the home was only 5 blocks to the main business district in Driggs. This made for an easy walk to dinner and no need to drive, even in the chilly November temperatures. The home has everything you need to prepare a meal, the bed was comfortable and the pellet stove kept us cozy and warm in the evenings. If you have the good fortune to stay here, be sure to check out the glass blowing studio that the hosts operate next door--beautiful work!
The property was exactly as expected. It was very clean and the host were very helpful with giving us ideas to do in and around Idaho. The commute to GTNP and Yellowstone was long due to the Teton pass being closed but we made the trip and made it work. My only suggestion is a new mattress in the main level bedroom (which Mary is already aware of), a ceiling fan in the living room upstairs and bushes trimmed at the front door. There was a box fan in a closet and we were able to put in the upstairs living room which helped. Very lovely, clean house and we would definitely stay there again. Thank you Mary and Ralph!!

Great Property Centrally Located for Day Trips to the Tetons and Yellowstone
Very spacious but with a comfy/cozy feeling. We enjoyed the interesting books and charming decor throughout with peeks at the original grainery building. A pellet stove was new to us but worked like a charm. The perfectly appointed kitchen gave us tools to do some serious cooking. Just a thoroughly enjoyable experience from snoozing in comfy beds to glasses of wine and smoked trout by the fire.
The many large windows gave a view of the Grand Teton Peak and solar heating during the day. Pull the blinds down for night-time privacy and enjoy eating at the large dining table.
You can connect to the internet to plan your next day's adventure while the hiking cloths are in the washing machine.
Broulim's grocery is just a couple of miles away. They have everything you need to cook or eat at a number of local restaurants. Ask you hosts for recommendations

Thanks for the nice review! The grocery is a mile away and feels closer. To me anyway.
Home was impeccably clean...very nice. Convenient shopping to grocery store and downtown Driggs. 12 miles to Grand Targhee ski resort (worth the drive even if you don't ski...you can see the back of the Tetons) It is about 30 miles from Jackson through a mountain pass. Scenery is beautiful but drive can be intimidating if you're not use to mountain driving.
Awesome place to stay and close to Yellowstone and Grand Teton's as well as numerous waterfalls in Idaho. Loved every minute of our vacation!!!

About the host
Hosted by Ralph Mossman and Mary Mullaney
We are glassblowers who have lived in this house for 28 years, and recently decided in 2016 to build a new house right behind it and move. We love this house, but decided it was time for a change. Our glass studio, known as Heron Glass, is also here, as is a cottage which we have been renting for awhile too. So we have been hosts to travelers for about 7 years now and have received great reviews. Look under the Romantic Cottage in Driggs for those reviews.
Why they chose this property
The Granary is very cool! You can still see the stacked 2x4's in the downstairs, and even some grains stuck in the gaps, that have now been painted over. Having us nearby is helpful if you need anything or need advice for where to go. And you are welcome to check out our glass shop and watch us blow glass too!
