For some reason Vrbo or the reservation didn't mention you brought a pet, but glad that the place could accommodate you with that part. The main function of the property is to fill a void for affordable, temporary housing and to combat inflation and the perils of capitalism. I do that by limiting the income it generates and refusing to pass off annoying charges to the consumer. In other words, I try to charge what I think the rate should be, instead of what inflation and Vrbo's algorithms dictate. The items you mentioned are partly the result of other guests staying there as well as pets. The place is cleaned between each stay fairly well, but like any house, it has blemishes. At some point in the near future, the deferred maintenance will be addressed. It would help if Vrbo could help cover those costs as I am just a single property owner. I think they receive more than their due share for their services, so if they are especially interested in converting thousands of homes into temporary hotels, perhaps Vrbo could also set up a fund to aid in those renovations.
