Only 6 houses from the beach – Sleeps 8 - Oceanside @ 32nd & West

This breezy corner home has off-street parking for 1 car, a garage and an enclosed outside shower. It is an elevated first floor condo with 2 porches. The large back porch, which is accessible thru the den, runs the width of the house. It is furnished with Adirondack chairs and a table which seats 6. The morning sun shines on this portion of the house making it the perfect spot for breakfast and a shady retreat after a day at the beach. The front porch is through the master bedroom. This is the place to relax in one of two wooden deck chairs or at the café table to enjoy the sunset.

The interior of the house boasts many upgrades and is tastefully decorated in a “Down the Shore” style. The house has central air conditioning and there is a ceiling fan in each room. The den has a 44" TV, cable and home theater system that plays DVDs, CDs, and MP3s. We've also provided a library of DVDs with an ocean bent for those times when you just want to kick back and watch an enormous shark eat 7 stranded castaways. In addition to this Wi-Fi is available so you can stay connected (hopefully just with loved ones and not work). There are also numerous games and jigsaw puzzles for some good old non-electronic fun. The adjacent dining area has a table that seats 8, and there is a breakfast island that seats 3. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range and oven, microwave, refrigerator with through-the-door ice and filtered water, toaster oven, coffee maker, and blender. There are full place settings and silverware for 12, an array of glasses and stemware, pots, pans dishtowels and all the tools and gadgets necessary to make a gourmet meal or burgers and dogs. Speaking of burgers and dogs there’s also a Weber charcoal grill and tools for your use in the garage.

The bedrooms are located on the lower level. The Twins room is just that. It’s the perfect place for the kids with 2 twin beds a TV with and a Nintendo game system. Across from the Twins room is the Hawaiian Room with a queen bed and an island motif. Further down the hall is the first full bath and just beyond that the washer/dryer alcove. The Master bedroom and Guest bedroom each also have queen size beds and are located at the end of hall. The Master bath is equipped with twin sinks and a full shower. Each bedroom is furnished with bedspread, blanket(s) and pillows but you will need to provide your own linens and bath towels.

Other amenities include assorted beach toys/games, dartboard and 4 bikes.

Last year we installed wood flooring in the den and hall and this year's plans are to do some reupholstering and painting before the season starts.

Growing up in South Jersey we spent a good portion of all our summers down the shore. We started as day-tripping 'shoobees', then 2-weekers, from there we had a seasonal campsite out on Route 9 and now finally we have a beautiful place of our own that we'd love to share so you too can enjoy the magic and make your own wonderful summer memories in Ocean City.

What makes this condo unique

Over the years we rented a lot of different places during the ski season and have been in both wonderful and 'lacking' properties. Having had that range of experiences we clearly understand the perspective of our guests and our goal is to provide you with a real home-away-from-home. We personally clean and maintain the house before each family arrives to ensure everything is tidy and in order. Plus the interior appointments and decor were very tastefully done by my lovely wife, a former interior designer.

I'm confident that you'll find everything you need and enjoy the place as much as we do.

Absolutely beautiful unit

If you want a place that is impeccably decorated with a lovely beach theme this is the place! It feels like a home away from home and is actually better stocked then even our own home! We loved the decor and the proximity to the beach. We also used the bicycles to get around and we loved the outdoor shower! Thank you Hank and Melissa for giving us your vacation home for the week! The included beach tags were a welcome surprise! Thank you so so much!
