This is like a tiny house but a little bigger, great for two or three.
About Linda Middleton
I am 65 and my husband Kenny is 78, we have lived on this property for 40 years. We have a son with a disability who lives with us, he is an amazing young man but does not go down to the Blue Spruce, so you probably won't meet him. We have two dogs, who we discourage from going down there but might show up. If they do, send them home. One is a pup and very energetic. My main job is working in a social service agency that I founded 40 years ago. It is a multi service agency that serves people all over the Peninsula from birth to seniors in various capacities. It is called Concerned Citizens and is on the web. We have a great garden every year and I often share our harvest with our renters in July and August. I was born and raised in the Jacob House on LaPush Rd, my family owns that vacation rental. Growing up in a small town and on a farm is a great way to grow up. Back in the 60s there were only a couple homes in a 10 mile radius, no TV, and a world of trees, bugs, farm animals, rivers, gardens, and beaches to explore. Now our grand children still like being here with nature and outside activities the main course of the day. We all love the outdoors and are not easily deterred by the rain. We have always led a simple lifestyle and enjoy the friendly camaraderie of the town.
Linda Middleton purchased this Mobile Home in 2010
Why Linda Middleton chose Forks
In my dad's later years he bought a Park Model Mobile and moved in on to our property so that he would be closer to us. The Blue Spruce was my dads home until he died in 2016. He took very good care of the house and we are happy to share it with you. We moved it closer to the road and will plant trees to shield it better from the beach traffic, but that will take a little time. It is far enough from our house to be very private. It is a perfect location and people are loving it.
What makes this Mobile Home unique
Forks is on the tip of the Olympic Peninsula and is a beautiful rain forest panorama of green evergreens, majestic mountains, the Pacific Ocean and beaches; rivers full of salmon and steelhead, and a wilderness full of deer and elk. Most recently it is the home of the characters from the Twilight series fictional books and movies. Where vampires and werewolves battle over the treaty line for the love of a teen age girl, Bella Swan. The uniqueness of the area is the magnificent trees, how green it is every season, the fishing and hunting that is available and the quietness of the location. This property is so convenient, just 5 minutes to both beaches, Lapush and Rialto, 15 minutes to Forks, 45 minutes to the Hoh to the South and Shi Shi beach and Neah Bay to the West. You will likely see elk and deer outside your window, and can enjoy a campfire and marshmallows at night or sit on the covered deck and just enjoy the evening.

While nothing fancy this is a great place to stay while exploring the pacific northwest. Clean with a fire pit area. Host was prompt to respond, very friendly.
Great Place to Stay
Awesome place to stay, centralized in the middle of Forks, and LaPush. Had all of the basic needs for us during our stay. Be prepared not to have any cellular service after you leave Forks unless you have Verizon, so write down the code for the door, otherwise, you have WIFI when you get there! Would definitely stay here again!
Great/clean place; nice property; great location; great host! We will be staying here again!!
Great value; great location! We will be back!!
Just right, thank you.
Access to fishing, quiet place, warm, cozy, and accommodating.
I wish I had one of my very own.
A great location for us, close to the coast. Very quiet. There was a problem with the thermostat, but we didn’t need heat during our stay.
Location, location, location.
We were spending 4 days in the area and we needed a place that was comfortable and was a good spot for heading in different directions. We went to Cape Flattery, Shi Shi Beach, Rialto Beach - which was literally just down the road, Forks, La Push, Ruby Beach, the rain forest - all very convenient from this comfortable welcoming home. We even had a doe and fawn walk out in the yard while we were having our morning coffee. We only met the home owners' dog one time, but she was a sweetheart. If we ever make it back to this area, we know where we will stay. Thanks, Linda, and I'm glad you stopped by to say hi when we got there. It was nice to meet you.
Blue Spruce Meadows is the perfect place to relax, the Park Model Mobile Home is perfect for two. There is a comfortable couch and floor mats for a third person. It is surrounded by trees, fields and is a short distance from the beach. The house is located just five miles from Mora Beach and 7 miles from LaPush. LaPush has shopping, a restaurant, beach cabins, a motel, and other shops that sell authentic Native blankets, baskets and other items. The three beaches at Lapush offer hiking both along the beach and through the woods.
Mora beach offers a beautiful beach right across from LaPush where you can hike to the Hole in the Wall. This is a beautiful walk that takes you along the beach and at low tide you can walk through the hole in the wall to the other side, stepping around and over tide pools teaming with sealife.
Have lunch at Three Rivers Resort and their famous "Jacob Black" Blackberry Shake and Werewolf Burger if you are Twilight fan or visit beautiful Lapush for a seafood dinner on the water at Rivers Edge Restaurant. Three Rivers has a new special Treaty room where you can sample their delicious menu.

Blue Spruce Meadows is perfect for fishermen and hunters. It is located just 7 miles from Lapush where you can moor your boat or schedule a trip with one of the ocean guides.
For bank fishing you are centrally located to the Calawah, Quillayute, Bogachiel, and Sol Duc, three of the most popular fishing rivers. Steelhead fishing is one of the most popular sports on the Peninsula or "the Coast", as some people call it. One of the best places to launch or take out your boat is at Leyendecker park .5 miles from Blue Spruce Meadows .
These rivers are fished by qualified guides and it is a no brainer why! The rivers all come together at Leyendecker park and boat launch so hatchery bound fish have to go back to the State hatchery at the end of Bogachiel way by traveling these rivers. Three Rivers guide service is 3 minutes from Blue Spruce Meadow and has qualified professional guides to help you and give you the
