Classic Disney Fort Wilderness Log Cabin, Main Channel Views of Lake Hamilton

Our authentic Disney Wilderness Lodge cabin was relocated from Walt Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort to Lake Hamilton in 2025. Every effort was made to preserve its original charm: all furniture, décor, and wood finishes are exactly as they were in Orlando—cozy, warm, and inviting without feeling overly themed. The cabin is set up to comfortably accommodate a maximum of 2 adults plus 2 children.


Peaceful, Storybook Setting
Tucked among tall pines and overlooking the main channel of Lake Hamilton, the cabin offers a quiet, woodsy escape. A large private deck—an upgrade from its Disney days—was positioned to maximize privacy, morning birdsong, evening crickets, and the flocks of geese that pass by at sunrise and sunset. While there’s no direct lake access, the views are beautiful and walks around the cove are relaxing.

The mountain cabin was everything I hoped for. Tucked away in the trees with breathtaking views, it felt completely private and peaceful. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy and beautiful. We spent time hiking, zip lining, and just spending quality time together in the cabin. It was the perfect get away for our 4-year anniversary.

Cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood near Lake Hamilton. Cabin was nicely furnished. Cabin and grounds were very neat and clean. Conveniently located to grocery. Check in was easy. Appreciated getting door code and address in advance. Bedroom is cramped with queen bed and bunk bed. No internet nor cable tv. Host was friendly and responsive.
