This was the most well thought out short term rental that we have stayed it. From the nightstands having plugs built in to the welcome snacks, this comfy house had it all! Excellent house and great management! Super close to ND. Stayed here while touring school. Definite 5 star!
Our host was very cooperative, friendly and compassionate for the reason for our visit. The home was so cute, clean and close to ND Campus and other places in South Bend.
My husband, myself and two sons (ages 12 & 15) recently stayed here and really enjoyed the space. The house is in a great location, super clean and well maintained. Tons of thought went into the layout of the space and tons of extras, like comfy blankets, to make it feel like a home away from home. And the host went above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly- communicated clearly and offered to let us check out late or stay an extra night due to the snow. We'd definitely stay here again.

It felt like walking into a comfortable home.
This is a very comfortable property. Home is well furnished with all the most up-to-date appliances. The large backyard has all you need to enjoy it--fire pit, pizza oven, grill. And a wonderful pergola where I could have spent the entire day. Had fun exploring the house and discovering all it had to offer. Would definitely come again!

Cute, clean and comfortable, close to Notre Dame!
This is a beautiful home in a perfect location! It’s very easy to take the trail to Notre Dame from here! The house was very clean and it has a lot of extra touches that make it feel like a home.
The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare a meal, like spices and actual chef knives and a really nice grill.
The backyard is great for hanging out. I love the ND corn hole boards and all the ND decorations!
The bed was super comfortable with lots of extra pillows. I slept great here and felt very at home.
Thank you LaShon for making us feel so welcome! If I’m back in South Bend, I will definitely stay again!
Wow — what an incredible stay! This house had absolutely everything we needed (and more!) to feel right at home while away. From the cozy throws perfect for curling up on the couch with a glass of wine, to the game room stocked with puzzles and fun, to a fully equipped kitchen and comfy bedrooms — every detail was so thoughtfully considered. LaShon truly created a space that’s relaxing, welcoming, and completely stress-free.The house itself is full of charm and character — an older home with so much personality, yet beautifully decorated to feel warm, modern, and homey. The layout worked perfectly for our family with young kids, and we all had the space we needed to feel comfortable. The backyard is a gem! We, unfortunately, ran out of time and didn’t get to use the pizza oven (next time!), but the hammock was definitely a nap-time highlight. Every corner of the house and yard felt designed with care and comfort in mind. The location was great — close enough to Notre Dame to bike or even walk if you don’t have little ones in tow. We loved using the provided adult bikes (such a thoughtful touch!) to ride along the river trail and around campus. It made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. One of my favorite parts? The check-out process! Instead of a long list of chores, we were simply asked to take our belongings and turn off the lights. It made our departure just as relaxing as the rest of our stay — a true vacation experience from start to finish.

Thank you so much! It truly means the world to us! So thrilled that the space felt like home to you. We'd love to welcome you back anytime (maybe that pizza oven will get its moment next time!). Until then, thank you for being such thoughtful guests. Best wishes!
Echoing another review this was one of the most thoughtfully appointed places we've stayed in. Lots of gadgets in the kitchen, stocked coffee bar, tvs everywhere with easy login and automatic log out of streaming accounts. Blankets for the sofas. Games for all ages. Clean and comfortable. Attentive owner. Really fabulous.
Hi, I’m LaShon! I’m passionate about creating a comfortable, creative, and family-friendly stay for every guest. Whether you’re in town for Notre Dame, business, or fun, this home is designed to make you feel relaxed, inspired, and at home.
Why they chose this property
I was drawn to the North Shore Triangle for its peaceful, tree-lined streets and the trails that whisk you to Notre Dame in minutes. But this one had something extra. The backyard instantly stole my heart—shaded, serene, and blooming with perennials, it’s a space that invites you to slow down and savor the moment. Inside, the thoughtful layout makes hosting easy and comfortable, with charming privacy doors that quietly separate sleeping areas from the buzz of the main living space. It’s a home that balances beauty with function—and it just feels good to be in.
