About Faye Sisson
We have family who live in Gulf Shores and having the condo helps us spend time with them. We have an active lifestyle in Atlanta but love the people here on the island most. I am a native of Atlanta, now living in one of the northern suburbs. I am a grandmother, gardener, community volunteer and a happy beach fan. My mom is 92 and enjoys the great balcony view and easily accessibility of the condo.
Faye Sisson purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Faye Sisson chose Orange Beach
The View!!! It is so perfect. The building is close to the waterline and the balconies have an unobstructed view all the way from Alabama point to Gulf Shores. We also needed a easy care flat, no steps. The condo has a good size balcony, pleasant decor and is completely equipped.
What makes this Condo unique

Perfect location. Condo was very nice, clean and everything you need was provided. Very relaxing vacation. We have stayed at Emerald Skye for the last 8 years and enjoyed every visit.
Reasonable price for a great condo
We always enjoy staying in Ms Sessions condo at Emerald Skye. Nice condo with all the amenities you could need. We have stayed at Emerald Skye for 19 years and always enjoy it.
Perfect Beach Vacation!
Nice condo with beach decor. Well equipped kitchen for those who like to dine in. On second floor, so easy access from parking lot and also a smaller building. Easy beach access and amazing view from balcony. Every detail of this condo has been well thought out. All in all, a great place. We hope to return.
Great location right on the beach
We had a wonderful family vacation at Emerald Skye on Orange Beach. Faye, the owner, was professional and answered all our questions. The property was as pictured and described. The kitchen is good sized and well equipped. My only minor issue was finding the proper settings to maintain a constant temperature in the unit. Overall, a wonderful stay, unit and most of all LOCATION! Would stay here again.
We enjoyed the condo on the beach.
We enjoyed everything about the condo. Espically enjoyed the view every morning and evening.... condo was pretty quiet which we enjoyed. How would we find out about availability for the month of March 19???
We stayed 30 nights in this condo ,view was fantastic, seen dolphins almost every day, sometimes very close to shore ..The private balcony made it very nice for the winter sun to warm us even on cool days.It was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need .Even though the weather was not always cooperative we still enjoyed the stay !!!!
There is lot's to see and do in addition to the beach. I almost don't know where to start. If the first entry doesn't interest you, please keep reading. There is something for everyone.
It is an easy drive to the historic site at Fort Morgan. Fort Morgan and Fort Gaines guarded the entrance to Mobile bay and are preserved as National Parks. From there take the ferry to Dauphin Island and visit the Estuarium. It tells the story of the watershed that makes up Mobile bay and our part of the the Gulf Coast. It is not a big fancy aquarium, but really a good way to understand the ecology of the area. On a pretty day the ferry trip is almost the best part. It is a short ride and you see the bay and some of the oil rigs.
The charming town of Fairhope, Mobile Bay, Pensacola and the city of Mobile are all less than 2 hours away. Alabamians say that 'Fairhope is special' and they are right. It is stepping back to another time. Be sure to take a walk out on the pier, the view is stunning. Shopping in Fairhope is fun and unique, no chain stores in the downtown area but lots of art, crafts, and high end fashion.
The Naval Air Museum is very interesting, makes you proud of our Navy men and women. It is about 45 minutes away on the west side of Pensacola. This is a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.
On the island you might be interested in Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, the Wharf entertainment district and Waterville water park.
Bring your bikes and ride in Gulf Shores state park. You could also rent bikes if you like. The park is over 600 acres of trails, lakes and maritime forest as well as a golf course and 2.5 miles of gulf beach.
If you are a shopper, Tanger Outlets is a quick trip to Foley. The Wharf has boutique type shopping and entertainment.
The USS Alabama is docked at Mobile bay. It is a fun, interactive experience especially for vets and kids.
Bellingrath Gardens are world famous and beautiful at any time of the year. The house is also open for tours. It was the home of Mr and Mrs Bellingrath. He was the local Coca Cola bottler and she acquired many things brought to her from all over the Gulf coast during the Great Depression. To Mrs Belligrath's credit she never took advantage of the families who needed to sell their treasures, she always paid a fair price. The water views from the morning room is beautiful. Bellingrath is an easy day trip and well worth your time.
The Gulf Shores zoo is small but really cute. They usually have some sort of "animal experience". Call the zoo hours or to make reservations.
