Nestled between Issaquah's beautiful Tiger and Squawk Mountains this oasis provides endless activities and adventures. It features epic views of paragliders, trailheads are 2 blocks away, and it's a short 1 mile walk or ride to Issaquah's downtown food scene. This property is perfect for kids to romp and play, enjoy games, share laughs, and create memorable meals together!

My family lives 2 doors away and are fairly available if any needs are to arise. We are very responsive hosts and mainly interact via the platform though we always love meeting our guests and you might see us playing on the streets with our young boys or walking our dog.

We chose this neighborhood because it embodies what Gateway Gathering is all about connection, comfort, and ease. It’s a place where guests can slow down, feel at home, and truly enjoy time together, whether that’s around the dining table, in the backyard, or exploring nearby favorites.

The area offers the perfect balance of peace and accessibility. It’s quiet and residential, yet close to everything that makes the destination special - local cafés, family-friendly activities, scenic spots, and conveniences that make a stay effortless. Guests can enjoy restful mornings and relaxed evenings without sacrificing proximity to memorable experiences.

What makes this property unique

If you check out each individual listing on our profile you will potentially be able to get a better understanding of the property itself. It is a 1/3 acre lot with the 100 year old main house (Gateway House) and the newly built (2020/21) DADU (the Gateway Getaway). The house is a 3 bed, 1 bath house and the DADU is a loft unit with vaulted ceilings with modern furnishings.

You will have 3 bedrooms in the house (1 king, 2 qn/full), and in the DADU you have 1 king open lofted room with a sleeper sofa. It can sleep up to 9 people comfortably.
