The house has been newly renovated and sleeps up to 11 adults comfortably with 4 bedrooms. Only a 10-15 Minute walk to the front beach and rosebud plaza.

Rosebud Sea Central is a perfect family escape that has loads of living space and heaps of amenities that will suit everyone. The property has an open living space and a great private rear yard complete with pool that is positioned to capture the sun all year round.

Enjoy this great central position, close to beaches, restaurants, wineries, The Hot Springs, Tree surfing, Arthurs Seat chair lift and Ashcombe Maze.

Fantastic location, suitable home for large family of 11. Best of all the pool, nice to go to beach for few hours then retreat to pool and wash down and cool off. Kids loved it! All the kids said it was the best holiday ever. Down side to this otherwise fantastic holiday was all of the tenant notes, Stayz listing indicated recently renovated, this is not very accurate. Photos need updating, cupboard doors in the kitchen need to be updated.

New years getaway

Definitely not worth the price I paid for this property. The hot water runs out very quickly we weren’t able to have showers we were 8 adults and 4 kids which the house is suppose to accomodate for, only 3 or 4 of us could shower for 5 minutes each per day. The Aircon does not cool the whole house down and if you’re renting this property in the peak of summer can make it very hard to sleep at night. We also found the beds were very very uncomfortable. The pool area the tiles around the pool get very slippery and the kids kept on slipping luckily we didn’t have any serious injury. House is in good location but would definitely not be renting this property again.

Hi George Thank you for your review, we value your feedback to understand what we can do better in future. Hi George Understand your points - I’m sorry I couldn’t do much in the way of providing you any other solution for the hot water then trying to find a way to not use it all - the tank itself is 240 Litres which is the largest you can get so for you to go through it all there not much I can suggest otherwise.. In regards to the air conditioning, the units in the house are only designed to cool the rooms they are in only - not the whole house plus the doors and windows need to be closed for them to be effective- if people are coming in and out all the time this will of course mean the units won’t be as effective In regards to the beds mattresses they are actually quite expensive- the bed support frame under the mattress may have moved which would make the mattress not even underneath making it not as comfortable- this is an easy fix if it had been identified earlier Finally in regards to the pool - most tiles designed for water would become slippery when wet - this is pretty common knowledge I would have thought - this is the first complaint I’ve had about this issue however thanks for letting me know

Not a clean place , Depressing and Old vibe

The pictures are probably 10 years old and I can definitely say that by looking at the backyard photos. The price you pay is not the quality you get from that place. If you are lucky with Melbourne weather you can enjoy the backyard else you are stuck at home with such a weird design depressing and old furniture small and very basic and old kitchen. The bed linens and towels are so used that we had to go to kmart to buy ourselves new sets. these days you can buy a coffee machine for $100 in Aldi with a frother it doesn’t take much to make a place nice and beautiful and more welcoming for people. The sofa bed is broken and we couldn’t use it. I cannot tell you enough how much the place was unclean!!! I have been to places and recommended or gone back to them again many times. This is definitely a NO! Get rid of those dusty plastic plants everywhere! Ask someone to come and clean the place properly for you before charging the next person. Thanks bit no thanks everyone was so disappointed! Not going to book again and won’t recommend

Great little house with lots to offer!

When we pulled up we didn't think much of the place. But as soon as we stepped inside we were surprised by how well its been renovated. Everything was labelled which made the stay very easy for us and Dan would reply within a couple of hours with anything else we needed. Thanks for helping us make some great memories! We'll be back!

Property was clean and tidy and well positioned to everything we needed for our week away. Only thing missing was there wasn’t enough cutlery for the 11 of us that were staying there to eat at the same time. House just needs a few more kitchen utensils and bathroom floor mats but other than that was a great house.

Rosebud Retreat

Easy process to rent and gain access to the property. Location was great and house was spacious with eveything you need. Heated pool was a bonus. Definitely enjoyed the experience and will come back again.
