My multi generational family of 7 a dog traveled to COSA for a family event. We stayed at this awesome beach home and were thrilled to be SO CLOSE to the beach. Just an easy, quick (!!) walk to the Matanzas Ave access point gave us the opportunity to go down to the beach at least twice a day.*There were lots of beach items to borrow: chairs, a wagon, toys, etc and a great spot to rinse away the sand when we returned.*Inside, the kitchen had lots of pots, pans, dishes, cutlery and kitchen tools, so if you wanted to cook, even for a big group, it was totally possible.*As the eldest, my husband and I stayed in the downstairs Queen bed with bathroom right next to it. Our kids and grandkids were upstairs with two Queen beds sharing a bath and a King en suite. The upstairs sitting room had lots of seating, and a TV let the kids hang out and watch what they wanted. There was also a full sized washer and dryer behind closed doors to keep the sound down - just bring your detergent.*The downstairs plan was open with plenty of sturdy seating at an extra large table. The adjoining living area had seating for six and a big screened TV. *Outside is a paver patio with several Adirondack chairs, a (old!) gas grill and a new charcoal grill that we chose to use. We found charcoal at the DG down the street.*There's a Winn Dixie and a Publix (both with liquor stores) a little over two miles north. There's also a Dollar General less than a 1/2 mile to the south.

If you’re looking for a fresh crisp clean, updated VRBO this probably isn’t the right property for you.

It is disheartening that a guest would leave a bad review for the property because we followed the cancellation policy that was agreed to upon booking by the guest. This review has nothing to do with the property, which is exactly as pictured and described on Vrbo. We recommend all guests purchase trip insurance to protect their vacation investment.

I live in St. Augustine, Florida with my wife, our three kids, and our little dog. We love calling this area home! From relaxing days at the beach and concerts at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre to exploring the historic charm of downtown, it’s an amazing place to live and visit. As locals, we’re able to respond quickly when guests need anything and are always happy to share our favorite recommendations for dining, activities, and local attractions.

Why they chose this property

This home is in a great beach neighborhood, on the east side of A1A. It's on the same street as the beach access.
