privat pool. Nyd havbrisen sidder under skyggefulde egetræer med en kold drink i din hånd.

Hvis Hemingway rejste nord for Key West, ville han sikkert have nydt dette Destin Beach Cottage, der minder om hvad du måske finder i nøglerne. Denne dejlige ferie hjemme ville være et sted efter hans eget hjerte. Mindre end 5 minutters gang til stranden; omgivet af de unikke skyggefulde egetræer, som Northwest Florida er kendt for; indpakket i flere fredelige porches og har en privat pool i den store baggård. Vi tror, at dette vidunderlige sommerhus vil få dig til at komme tilbage til mere.

Dette hjem gør det så nemt at nyde, hvad vi kom her for - afslapning og skønhed af nogle af verdens smukkeste strande. Det er ideelt beliggende i Crystal Beach-området nær The Destin Commons, købmandsforretninger, prisvindende restauranter og mange rekreative aktiviteter i nærheden. Det er beliggenhed i Kokomo Cove har privat adgang til stranden og støder op til cykelstien, der løber langs stranden og møder op med butikker og spisesteder.

Selvom det er sandt, at locale Hemingway's Hideout er fantastisk, er denne strandferie mere end blot en prik på kortet! Bortset fra en eklektisk og attraktiv kystindretning har den et moderne køkken med alt hvad du behøver for et kulinarisk eventyr, et fuldt vaskerum og fladskærms-tv i hvert værelse. Det er ikke så stort, du har brug for et kort til at navigere men føles meget åbent og luftigt med 10 'lofter på hovedniveau. Desuden er øverste etage tilgængelig via en vindeltrappe og har en vidunderlig 360 graders altan, der tilbyder smuk udsigt over solnedgange over Crystal Beach og en delvis udsigt over golfen. Baghaven er også poetisk. En stor privat pool er omgivet af overdådige udend����rs møbler og en grill. Faktisk skal du ikke blive overrasket, hvis du har lyst til at leve en egen historie, mens du basker i denne solrige oase.

Vi lejer ugentligt fra lørdag til lørdag i foråret pause og sommer. Der er en 4 nat minimum alle andre gange.

Best Beach Getaway

We absolutely loved this property. It was updated beautifully, and had plenty of space for our family. The location is perfect, you can be at the beach in less than five minutes. We loved the private pool and spent many days cooling off in the pool after getting home from the beach. Rental communication was great. We will definitely stay again.

Great stay

Location was good. Just a short walk to beautiful white sand. House was great. Everything looked new and comfortable. Back yard spacious.

Summer Vacation

The property was small but very pretty and appeared newly remodeled. It was comfortable enough for 6 people. The pool area was beautiful. We really enjoyed having a pool to jump into after the beach. The beach is only a short walk from the house. There are only minimum starter items in the home and there were no beach towels, chairs, umbrellas or a wagon to use for trips to the beach. Also, you cannot get to the pool through the house, you have to use the front door to walk around to the back yard even though there are 2 side entries leading to the wrap around pouch, both with signs stating do not use. This was an inconvenience when taking food or items to the pool area. There is a beautiful spiral staircase, but the air didn't reach the top, therefore making the room unusable and the TV was only for DVD use upstairs. Also all closets are packed full of the owners items leaving no room to put clothes, especially in the bunk room. The closest was locked for owner use only. There was no TV in the room with bunk beds. Also, window covering would be nice in the kitchen and living room. Beautiful property and great location but I would not rent again.

Perfect Getaway.

My wife and two kids recently stayed at this house. Everything was great and the location couldn’t be better. Would definitely recommend staying there if you get a chance.

Great stay

This property was good. The thing that made it worth our stay was the pool and proximity to the beach. It was further away from shopping and restaurants, but if you’re planning to stay in, this is a great place. Bunk room tv didn’t work, and a few kitchen items were missing. Overall was happy with the experience.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay and especially the private pool. Easy walking distance to beach. House is completely updated & clean. Room for 3 adults and 3 kids.

Cute and comfortable home

We enjoyed the accommodations at this property as well as its proximity to the beach. The backyard is a private oasis with heated pool and made this an ideal property even on cool, cloudy days. We appreciated the landscaping and ample shade In the yard. The kids loved the “clubhouse” upstairs above the tree line. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautifully furnished. The shady front porch was lovey for sipping drinks and playing board games together.

2020 Family Vaca

Spectacular kitchen accommodated our family cooking competition, our way of having fun eating in all the time due to Covid risks. Location to beach was awesome. Little tight for 6 adults. Suggest a change to an oval or ellipse Dining table to have head clearance walking around spiral staircase. Beautiful finishes. Quartzite counters stunning.

Wonderful place to relax in Destin

The property and neighborhood were both great. The beach is just at the end of the street with a private beach entrance. You're not ON the beach, but you're super close. Beds were good (I would say medium firmness), pool was clean and well positioned, and the kitchen was big. We did have a problem with the master toilet. But the management company and the owner took care of it the same morning we called them. Many thanks for the incredibly fast response! Overall, we had a great time.

Fantastic Beach House!!!

We absolutely loved staying at Hemingway's Hideout! The location was perfect and the pool was amazing! The only thing was that the spiral staircase was a bit too tempting for my little children which was worrying for me as they wanted to go upstairs to the bunk beds and onto the veranda! Maybe putting a bolt across the door at the top would be an idea? Overall though, we loved the property and will be back!

Easy Living

I rented this house with some friends for a week in May of 2019. The property management company was very easy to work with and soon enough we found ourselves a few houses down from the beach. Before I get to the good parts there are a few discrepancies, and most of them I spoke to the property management company about. Upon arrival most of the exterior lights on the house were burn out. The lights on the outdoor umbrella and the grill shade "tent" were dead and gave off zero light. The back yard and patio had lots of weeds growing about. Other than that though there were a few minor things that I think the owners should address. In the Master Bath, the tile is cracked and the toilet just moves around on the floor as it's not caulked. The Master bath itself is extremely slippery. Quite a few outlets in the house were "loose" when it came to our plugs. We'd have to sit there and get them to JUST the right spot for our phones to charge. HOWEVER, none of those things affected our happiness with our decision and our time spent in Destin and at this location. We absolutely loved and would certainly come back.

Amazing week

Everyone had a fabulous time at the Hideway. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The walk to the beach was short. We felt like we were away from the hectic beach traffic but were close to everything.

We enjoyed are stay.. the pool took forever to be heated, we had to leave the water running all day and night and the lights didn’t work in the back so when it got dark the kids had to get out of the pool! We didn’t have neighbors on either side but everyone turned around in our drive way which shined the lights right into the front bedroom and woke everyone up all night.. other then that it was great! A short walk to the beach it was not direct access but a quick 3 minute walk.. we stayed during spring break and it was surprisingly quiet

Great beach cottage

First, Newman Dailey, the property management company, was wonderful to work with, great staff. The property had everything we were looking for; we only have one constructive criticism, the newer designer light bulbs provide little light. As a result the rooms are very dark, hard to read. Recommend putting more efficient LEDs in the second bedroom and bath and finding candle bulbs with more lumens for the kitchen and family room.

April 2018 Stay

Booking was easy as was arriving after hours. The cottage was cute and cozy and suited our needs perfectly. My only complaint is that a guy showed up on two different afternoons unannounced to do something with the pool. It would have been very beneficial to have known to expect him so we could have better planned our pool time.
