Disappointing experience. While clean, this property is not nearly as nice as the photos would suggest, and it does not have AC. It’s best up and worn down: linens were like sand paper, flat pillows, faded furniture, amongst many others. We booked for mid-August, which can obviously be a very hot time of year for SoCal. The property was stuffy and warm, and even with windows open it was impossible to get any air because it’s crammed in between other houses. the neighbors were smoking marijuana on and off, so with the windows open we got to enjoy that smell, and finally just shut the windows (totally unacceptable, especially for our kids). We checked out two days early, and respectfully asked the host for a partial refund, which they had zero interest in accommodating, citing AC was not listed as a “popular amenity.” Seems pretty obvious for a rental in SoCal in August to make that clear. I would not recommend this property, especially for the cost.
