Escape to a peaceful 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat tucked among 3 wooded acres between Port Austin and Caseville, just minutes from the beaches of Lake Huron.

With three private bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a queen-size futon in the living room, the Hideaway comfortably sleeps up to 8 registered guests. Two full bathrooms make it especially convenient for families, couples traveling together, and multi-generational getaways.

Inside, the open-concept kitchen, dining and living area is bright, comfortable and surrounded by views of the trees. The kitchen is stocked with cooking and baking essentials, and you’ll also find Wi-Fi, Smart TV, board games, heating, air conditioning and laundry to make longer stays easy.

Outside is where the Hideaway really earns its name.

Sip your morning coffee on the deck while listening to the birds. Wander the 3 acre wooded property trails and sandy lane. Watch for deer, wild turkeys and migrating birds. Gather for outdoor meals at one of two large picnic tables, then finish the evening around the private firepit under the stars.

Bringing your dog? We welcome up to two dogs, and the property includes a dedicated enclosed dog area where they can safely enjoy some outdoor time with you.

Families will also appreciate having Sandy Dunes Adventure Golf and ice cream right next door—an amenity our guests mention again and again.

The Hideaway is not directly on Lake Huron, but you’ll have several beautiful public beaches, parks and nature areas just minutes away. Spend the day swimming, kayaking, hiking, shopping or exploring Michigan’s Thumb, then return to your own quiet place in the woods.
