Great house!!!! Super easy booking and check in / check out process

Had a great time staying in this house. Very well kept and spacious rooms. Very nice house overall. Extra set of bunk beds and lots of cooking tools in the kitchen which was great!

Loved it! Quiet area-close to town. Home was beautiful. Beds comfy. All the kitchen supplies you would need. Will definitely rent from again.

Great summer stay on WISP mountain

My family had a great summer weekend at this beautiful duplex home. I was a little worried about being a little distance from the lake - which is clearly the center of activity in the summer. But it was a very short drive to the lake, restaurants, etc. And well worth it. The house was clean, well maintained, and wonderfully provisioned. The beds were comfortable and the home is masterfully laid out.

Very comfortable, plenty of room. Only real issue was running out of propane in the middle of grilling dinner.

Property was nice; big problems with VRBO

The property was nice but over priced and needed some updating---i.e. front door locks, stained carpets, scuffed up walls, worn-out leather sofa, scratched and old pots & pans. Good points: Nice hot tub! Private and secluded location. Well equipped with dishes, washer/dryer, and room enough for everyone. Our main problem and lack of stars in review is this: What was promised on the VRBO website and what the realty company that handled the reservation (Railey Realty) were not honored. We booked this place because it was pet-friendly, had a pool nearby, and had a check in and out of 12:00. Realty told us NO pets! Extra charge for pool use (which by the way is miles form the cabin) And check in was 4:00 and check out was 10:00 a.m.!!! They did allow us to use the pool, but again it was so far away we never did. And they told us if we brought our small dog, we would be evicted! My sister, who had the dog, wasn't able to come because she had no one to look after it, leaving the remainder of the family to cover her share of the rental. Check in and out was strictly enforced or additional charges would be added. Railey Realty did nothing to correct or help rectify anything that VRBO promised!

We have done a very thorough investigation into the VRBO listing (including calling into our VRBO Representative to confirm some of these details). While they were some errors on the page- specifically that the check out time was listed to be 12am, midnight- we are confident that the home was never listed as pet friendly. The check in/check out time has been addressed. We do appreciate your additional feedback regarding areas of the home that need some attention; we will certainly take a closer look at these items!
