Our spacious studio sleeps 3, has a full modern kitchen, washer/dryer, and full bath. The large deck has a BBQ, dining, & comfy seating w a great view of birds in flight.

Enjoy the shared salt water pool & jacuzzi overlooking a dramatic sunset vista. We are 20 minutes from world-class beaches & waterfalls. Our 2 w drive, dead-end road is perfect for peaceful morning or sunset walks.

The owners live on property and are very friendly and helpful. They have lived in the area for many years and have a wealth of local knowledge they are happy to share.

Just 20 minutes from world-class beaches and waterfalls, our property sits on a peaceful, lightly traveled dead-end road perfect for scenic walks with breezes and stunning vistas. We’re a 2-minute stroll from a yoga studio offering four weekly classes. It’s the ideal home base—quiet and serene, yet a short drive to restaurants, activities, and all the natural beauty this magical area offers.

Enjoy your private casita with a full modern kitchen, laundry, BBQ, and comfortable lounge areas. You’ll also have shared access to the infinity pool and jacuzzi overlooking the valley. Wander the maintained trails through gardens and fruiting trees, and meet our gentle, stingless medicinal honey bees as they happily pollinate the property.

This bright studio features high vaulted ceilings and large windows that fill the space with natural light. A cozy queen bed with reading lamps and outlets on each side sits at one end, while a comfy sleeper sofa creates a relaxing seating area overlooking the generous eat-in kitchen. The kitchen includes a full-size oven, 4-burner gas cooktop, large fridge/freezer, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, breakfast counter, and a double sink with a view of the patio and valley below.

The spacious patio offers multiple seating options, a tall 4-top table, and a full-size BBQ for grilling your fresh catch. Essentials are provided: pots, pans, cutlery, dinnerware, wine glasses, ice trays, coffee, milk, sugar, olive oil, salt, pepper, fresh garlic, and seasonal fruits.

The bathroom is compact but thoughtfully designed, with a standing glass shower, oversized sink, plenty of hot water, and organic toiletries. A sliding pocket door—set around the corner from the bed—adds extra privacy within the open layout.

A car is recommended, as we’re about 2 km from the main road with stores and restaurants. The road is well maintained and a 4x4 is not required, but having a vehicle will make exploring the area much easier.

Our story is a bit like a fairy tale. We literally met on stage when I was 19 and Len was 23. What followed was a lifetime of writing songs and playing music together. In our early years we wrote and performed our original music. We later became bandleaders for a successful wedding and corporate events band in the Metro NY area.

Alongside our music careers, Len developed his skills as a recording engineer and producer as well as a professional photographer, with a special interest in nature photography. Len also owns a Boston Whaler center console boat and enjoys fishing area rivers and in the deep and pristine waters of Golfo Dulce.

Vani developed a passion early on for yoga. She became a certified yoga and meditation instructor and taught in various studios for more than 20 years. Here in Costa Rica, Vani specializes in working with people individually, helping them to craft a yoga practice suited to their personal needs and goals.

Why they chose this property

A longing for adventure and a more a natural lifestyle led us to Costa Rica in 2004. We fell deeply in love with Costa Rica on our first visit and we were determined to find a way to make our life here. We returned in 2006 and found the perfect property for us! We built Casa Colibri in 2009 and began to plant fruit trees and create our beautiful gardens. We now have over 20 varieties of mature fruit trees and lush gardens everywhere, including an organic vegetable garden that provides us with much of our fresh produce.

We moved to Costa Rica full-time in 2015 and built our new larger home, saltwater pool and hot tub and Casa Caracara, our second guesthouse in 2024. We delight in sharing the beauty and abundance with our guests that is Finca Verde!

What makes this property unique

As your hosts, we enjoy sharing information about the area's many attractions, including waterfalls, hiking trails and miles of unspoiled Pacific beaches. We love hosting guests here and introducing them to the abundant beauty and nature that surrounds us.

We want to ensure that your stay meets every expectation!
