A little far away but a nice and cool place. Air conditioned is not needed but a TV is listed and there wasn’t . Some details need to be fixed to make it feel more neutral and less domestic.

Required a 4x4 vehicle almost the entire length of the road to access property. That was not disclosed until I spoke to the owner who then went and changed the description of property and then added required 4x4 vehicle. Also advertised that beach is only 5 minutes away. Total lie! Just to get down the mountain is no less than 20-25 minutes then beach is another 10 minutes. Also described the property as a Villa whoch implies a much bigger and better place than the one we got to experience. No comfortable places to sit. Sliding door in kitchen had a leak from patio. Outlets in kitchen needed to cook or operate the equipment for cooking and operating other appliances kept tripping. Property management came on two occasions just to replace outlets then came again to recaulk sliding doors. Then came again because the water in the only bathroom stopped working. Landlord/owner was unsympathetic to all we pointed out and would not allow us to vacate property with a partial refund. He changed description once we pointed out the false advertising for the property. We saved the old and the changed. Made a complaint to VRBO but never got a response. Would not recommend anyone to stay at this or any of the other properties this owner rents out.

The renter rented my new house with private swimming pool for 1 month at the special rate of $75/ night . They stated they were coming to Costa Rica to buy a house and a 4x4 car. They purchased a home within a week which they could move right in to. They then asked if they could get a refund since they didn’t need my house anymore. I told them I couldn’t give them a refund and then they started with the complaining, and inappropriate language because I wouldn’t give them a refund. They moved out after a week into their new home.

The view from the property is absolutely stunning! At night you can watch the lightning storms for miles! And if it’s clear the stars are so bright. As others have mentioned you absolutely need a 4x4 to get there! There are a few very steep sections that 2wd will not go up. We tried and had to go to the car rental company and trade it in for 4x4. The landscape of the property is also beautiful! You can tell they have worked very hard to make a beautiful space for guests. Jeison was very quick to respond to requests and questions! Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful space in nature!

Tout était magnifique! Un plus pour la douche extérieur avec eau chaude et vue splendide. Lits très confortable. Très bien équipé pour cuisiner. Sommes toutes, depuis les 20 dernières années que nous louons des maisons plusieurs fois par année et chaque année dans le secteur, il s’agit ici d’un vrai coup de cœur. Nous la recommandons et la recommandera largement à tous!! Sans oublier l’excellent prix!

Since the guest didn’t share any comments in writing or verbally to the on-site Caretaker, it’s impossible for me (owner) to respond directly as to why they felt their stay wasn’t 5 star. It is Jeison (caretaker) and my goal to have everyone’s experience be a 5 star and we take that very seriously.

My house is directly above Marina Whales tail national park! My criteria for buying included the following: large piece of land, spectacular ocean view, primary jungle with large trees, a waterfall! And I found it all after spending lots of time looking!

What makes this property unique

13 1/2 acres of primary jungle, with 350 feet of elevation on my land alone, 50 mile spectacular coastline view, lots of privacy, tons of wildlife, freshest air in the world!
