After a long day of adventuring, come home to sip cocktails on the deck, gather by the firepit, or watch a world-famous California sunset turn into a sky full of stars.



Upon entry into the main house, you'll be met with a bright interior and a cozy atmosphere throughout the well-appointed living area. The open-concept floor plan was designed with togetherness in mind so that no conversation would be lost here. Relax and make yourself at home by resting on the plush furniture, streaming your favorite movies on the large TV, or serving brunch on the expansive deck. Prepare grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the sophisticated kitchen, painted with beautiful sea breeze colors and boasting stainless steel appliances. Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms ensure everyone receives a wonderful night's rest from the day's adventures.

Please bring your own bottled water for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth. The tap water remains perfectly fine for showering and general hygiene.

The view is absolutely stunning, and the big open living area and deck made it such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We loved spending time here and the location can’t be beat. A few small things could make it even better — fresher rugs, some curtains for privacy, and clearer instructions for check-in/check-out. The property is also for sale, and a broker with clients stopped by to look at the outside (they didn’t come in), which would have been helpful to know in advance. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with so much potential, and we’d definitely come back once a few updates are made.

Great stay!

We had a great stay and would stay again! The location is amazing, the house was just as great with a few quirks (definitely not deal breakers for us). The claw tub was a bit of a challenge to fill (use the shower head), the wooden bed frame way too squeaky for two people rolling over (had my son sleep in there), slider door in the tv room doesn’t lock that well. None of this affected our trip and it was wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and the bluff was not a concern for us and our kids (ages 6 and 9).

We needed 3 bedrooms and a nice common area and this place was that and more. The house is located on top of a bluff overlooking the ocean and the views are truly amazing!

Get it for the view. Fire pit was great. They are not kidding about drop off. Would not bring small children.

Wonderful property, incredible views, much needed isolation. Would have given 5 stars if not for the underwhelming stock of kitchen cookware. The one pot big enough to boil pasta was a ruined cast iron dutch oven, horribly rusted out. No small skillet with which to make decent egg dishes. No cheese grater. No cleanser for use in the sink. We had challenges in the Kitchen!

Saddle Point Main House

In my experience, pictures of a prospective rental are rarely 100% accurate. This was no exception. There were a few nuisance issues: Tub filler leaked onto the floor (we taped a ziplock bag under it to flow into the tub); the TV didn't work for 3 days (Kat finally sent a service tech out to fix it--thank you!) But the biggest disappointment was the poor cleaning before our stay. Floors were filthy, dishes and flatware had to be washed before use. Again, Kat kindly refunded our cleaning deposit. Very thoughtful! ALL IN ALL, we enjoyed our stay. It is a great location, the property has real potential. We loved the deck and platforms at the ocean's edge. If we owned this property, we'd put a little more funds into conveniences, decor, and definitely hire a better cleaning crew. Saddle Point was a wonderful place for us to celebrate out 37th Wedding Anniversary. Relaxing and wonderful ocean views to enjoy. Finally, while very happy with the treatment by VRBO, this is the 3rd Vacasa vacation rental for us to prove very disappointing where cleanliness was concerned. We will likely never rent another Vacasa home.
