The Desire Cabin was perfect to unwind in after a week in the Redwoods! Quiet, with a lovely view of the coast, and birds circling the thermals just above us. The hot tub, laundry, and kitchen were great. The furnace cut out, but the owner was on it and got his handyman out to fix it on the 4th of July weekend. Great response. Close to Mendocino and Ft. Bragg, and the Albion Market is just a few minutes away for last minute supplies.

Incredible value for what you get. Hot tub, ocean view and the perfect amount of space for a party of two. Some signs of wear/damage here and there, but nothing that would've negatively impacted the stay.

Location absolutely cannot be beat. The view and sounds of the ocean are spectacular. Hot tub wonderful; Instructions should be included for jet operation. House itself needs a lot more attention. Torn curtain in front; toilet old and too low; getting in and out of shower is a test of agility and balance; doors warped; bed difficult to get out of; re cleanliness: please invest in new mattress pad and pillows as they are disgusting. Towels smelled mildewed. Also we think the downstairs had not been vacuumed before we arrived as there were crumbs and other stuff on floor.

We loved the cliffside retreat that the Desire Cabin provided! Thank you so much for allowing us to participate in this little piece of paradise! We absolutely will be wanting to return in the future. The ambience, the views from every room were a treat. We were a little concerned that the hot tub may have needed additional water or maintenance, so we chose to enjoy the views in other capacities without indulging in using the hot tub this trip. We very much appreciated the coffee bar and the Adirondack chairs facing the sea no matter what time of day! The cabin is very peaceful and very serene. It was just what we needed! Thanks again for the hospitality!

What an amazing property. View of the cove was unbelievable. All of the state parks we wanted to visit were no more than 30 minutes, the best one (Russian Gulch) was about 10 minutes. Check out was simple, tooA few caviates: Thsi property definately not suitable for older folks. My husband and I are 50 and we don't think we could stay here in another 10 years. The spiral stair case is steep and only one hand rail. The loft is where the TV is and the bed is about 4 inches off the floor. I can see it being hard to get out of in a few years. The double shower was a little scary getting in and out of by the way it is built..but it worked out!Again, it is a wonderful place and would for sure stay again...just a little heads up for the older folks.

The home was super cozy, beautifully decorated, had every kitchen utensil needed and very private. We enjoyed the incrediblely comfortable bed, secluded deck and hot tub and played a few games from the cabinet. The view was incredible!
