This was my first trip to Chelem. The property is very budget friendly and the hosts are lovely. They run a restaurant attached to the apartments as well. It is also only 2 blocks from the beach. The pool was clean and cool and refreshing in the Mexican heat. The only downside to the general area is that there are a lot of dirt roads so there is a constant dust and grit factor.
