Great location for our group of seven while snowmobiling in Michigans Central U.P
This is a very private lodge centrally located in the North Central UP snowmobile trail system. The main trails are very easy to access with gas stations within several miles. There is plenty of room to maneuver and park multiple 4-place snowmobile trailer rigs with room to spare. We had use of the small garage to park sleds overnight and to change a wear bar while out of the weather. The lodge was very roomy for our group of seven, it had plenty of hangers for helmets and gear too. The kitchen was well stocked, nothing was needed that wasn’t provided! The bedrooms are roomy with quality beds and linen. I have rented many cabins, summer homes and lodges, this one is one of the better ones. The best of all, the owners were very accommodating, from answering my questions prior to the trip to plowing the driveway during our stay. They are the kind of people you would want as your neighbor! I would definitely recommend this property as you will not be disappointed! - Steve F.
Snowmobile Destination Trip
Place was convenient for us arriving by sleds just off 419 trail. 3.4 miles by sled from town, about 1.2 miles off the trail. House was comfortable overall, but we had to adjust the heat up to keep the lower level bedroom warm enough. They had everything we needed as far as basics. They alsowere always available to help us find our way in on the sleds.
Perfect for two couples!
We loved the size of the property it gave us a very private stay. Having access to the orv trails was just what we went north for. The only recommendation I would give, is maybe a refrigerator in the lower level. Very clean and Lisa and John were very accommodating. We will definitely be back!
Great location! Hosts are very accommodating.
This home is a great base for exploring the UP. We were able to enjoy all Munising has to offer as well as day trips to Marquette, Kitch-iti-Kippi, Taquemenon Falls, Whitefish Point, and hiking all along Pictured Rocks. The house was clean and the property is beautiful. John went above & beyond by helping repair my father's scooter so our vacation could continue as planned. THANK YOU! :-)
We loved our stay-beautiful secluded property!!!
We stayed from Wed 7/26 through Mon 7/31. There were 4 couples in their 40s and 50s and we absolutely loved the house and grounds. We all had trailers with side-by-sides and ATVs and the space to load and unload and move around the vehicles and trailers was wonderful! The house was extremely clean and well kept-very pretty! The basement bar and lounge area was excellent too! We are already thinking about a winter snowmobile trip. The trails are right behind the house, so no trailering. Overall this is an amazing deal!
Perfect vacation location
My wife and I, along with my brothers and sisters and spouses, stayed 5 days at Wolfe Springs Lodge for the purpose of family bonding and enjoying the beautiful Munising area. We could not have picked a better place to stay. With plenty of space for all and all the comforts of home we had a truly great experience. We all would definitely stay there again on future visits.
