Amazing location, charming apartment, excellent host

  • 5 of 5

Our family visited Rome in December and the Navona apartment exceeded our every expectation. It is very spacious with all the amenities we needed for our family of 4 (children ages 12 & 7). The views were absolutely amazing, with 5 large windows that open to the Piazza there was always some activity to watch. I cannot imagine a better location... it is an easy stroll to the Pantheon, and Vatican City and the Colosseum were a manageable 25 minute walk away. We skipped the buses to enjoy the journey of those walks.

The apartment is not without character, it is a very old building and the climb up the marble stairs can be tough when carrying your day's purchases. We thought it added to the authenticity of our stay in ancient Rome, but at no time did it feel unclean. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and with independent air conditioners in every room, you are able to make it comfortable for any liking. The master bath has an in-room water heater, which can run cold if you take long showers. However, there is no such concern in the other 2 showers, so it just takes some planning.

Ms Emma was an absolute delight. From her very prompt communications leading up to our visit, to the check-in orientation with a good overview of the area, and with some snacks & beverages already in the kitchen, she was a wonderful host. Emma also helped to arrange for a driver from/to the airport, something we hadn't figured out. If you are considering visiting Rome, absolutely request the Navona apartment - I know we will if we are lucky enough to return, and I would recommend any friends or family to do so as well.

Best Location in Rome!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed in this incredibly spacious apartment for three nights at the end of our 10 day trip to Italy. This apartment is expansive with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and plenty of other space too. The best part is the location. It overlooks Piazza Navona which is a vibrant place with a multitude of restaurants and cafes in the surrounding web of alleys and streets. We were able to easily walk to all the major attractions like the Vatican, the Coleseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Emma was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. We will always choose this apartment anytime we return to Rome.

Great location and views

  • 5 of 5

Very nice apartment. Emma was so very nice and helpful with site seeing and places to eat. The square below the windows was great to look out into anytime day or night. The location was very centralized. we walked to the Vatican, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain within minutes. The restaurants along the square were all very nice and reasonable priced. The apartment was very quite and the A/C worked very well. The apartment made us feel very safe and it was so nice to come back to after our sight seeing. Everything worked great and everything was very cleaned. Emma also aloud us to store our luggage before check in time and also on the day of departure till we were leaving. Would stay here again if ever back in Rome.

This property is centrally located with lots of piazza activity to enjoy day and night.

  • 5 of 5

This VRBO was very comfortable for 3 couples traveling together. Private bedrooms, clean bathrooms, and plenty of common area to relax each day. Internet connection was not fast; you had to be in the same room as the router to connect. Emma was helpful with suggestions for restaurants and grocery stores. She was also accommodated our leaving luggage in the entry after checkout so we could explore more sans suitcases. Kitchen was well stocked except for a decent coffee maker; 3 small Italian coffee makers that boil 1 cup at a time did not keep up with our high demand. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay within walking distance of the highlights of Rome.

The location of the apartment couldn't be better and provided all the space our family of 5 needed.

  • 4 of 5

Emma was helpful from beginning to end and the apartment suited our needs. We would suggest greater care in maintenance as many of the lights were burned out and the air conditioner in the master bedroom wasn't working. The bathroom in the master needs updating (especially the shower).

Overlooking piazza Navona from a six hundred years old palace's apartement

  • 5 of 5

Thanks Emma and husband, both nice and very helpfull. Our stay in the apartement was great. We were two couples, with a child each. More than enough space: three double rooms ( two overlooking the piazza) and three bathrooms. Tv, wi-fi, oven, microwave, dish -washes, two fridges, washing- machine, air driyers, safe. Well fournished. A dream. Of course, we were out, enjoing history, art and good food, most of the day. But we loved to go back home and rest a bit while watching out of the windows of the living-room , the wonderfull piazza. Well located, you can easily walk everywhere. I will definitly go back!

Federico Alessandri Qualified Chef-Personal Chef Becoming a qualified chef was a natural progression for me due to my childhood interest in fine cuisine and diverse cultures, along with my fascination of the science of cooking. I received my diplomas from one of the best culinary schools in Italy (A Tavola con Lo Chef) under the guidance of Michelin Star chefs. Italian cooking has a vast history of excellent traditional recipes and exquisite fine cuisine and it is my desire to balance these two elements perfectly. Being a personal chef, I have the pleasure of working for you, and I consider it essential for anyone visiting Rome to participate in the unique experience I offer, whether it be a dynamic cooking lesson or a sublime four course dining experience.
