If you are looking for a place to unwind from the rat race of everyday life, you will love Ruidoso and our comfy cottage. We take pride in the "spic & span" cleanliness of this property. PRIVATE HOT TUB! Our cozy cottage offers you the seclusion of a quite area, surrounded by lovely, whispering pines and wildlife galore! Deer visit on a regular basis.....and massive elk drop in occasionally for a nice rest. It isn't unusual at all to see a group of beautiful wild horses. Bird lovers? Ruidoso has gorgeous varieties of hummingbirds! Have a cup of coffee, or glass of wine as you sit on our covered deck or out by the hot tub. Take in all the splendor nature has to offer or spend some time shopping in the many shops Ruidoso offers. Stroll through midtown, stop and enjoy a glass of wine. There are many restaurants in Ruidoso from Mexican food, to burgers, steaks, soups, and delicious desserts! Want more entertainment.....Ruidoso offers horse racing. Memorial Day thru Labor Day and for CHRISTMAS WE PUT UP A CHRISTMAS TREE! There are 3 casinos nearby....the Inn of the Mountain Gods offers Las Vegas style gambling and breathtaking views that overlook the lake! More adventurous.....try the zip line at Ski Apache or the Inn of the Mountain Gods. New Alpine Slide at Ski Apache… Fishing, canoe rentals, go karts, horseback riding, hiking, museums.......and lots of artwork. Several golf courses nearby. Find it all in Ruidoso. The cottage is 2 bdrm with addl sleeping on a queen sleeper sofa in living area. Large, covered deck. HOT TUB, INTERNET, 2 TV's (ROKU), central heat & air! Most times, you will not need air conditioning, but if you do, this property provides it. Always check road conditions and weather in winter months to be prepared. Four wheel drive & snow chains are recommended in winter months.

THE VILLAGE OF RUIDOSO DOES NOT ALLOW ANY FIREWORKS WITHIN THE VILLAGE. There are fireworks displays at the Inn of the Mountain Gods on several occasions. Fee of charge & they are fantastic! We offer off-season rates for some months in the year. Usually, dates in latter March, all of April, first part of May, early November have some discounted rates. Weekly rates available also. Higher rates include New Years, Christmas season, Spring Break, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Memorial Day. Although holiday rates are increased, we do not try to capitalize on holidays by raising excessively. Not all holiday rates are the same either. We realize there are many properties available to lease in Ruidoso and appreciate your interest in ours. We feel the reviews, on both properties, will give you an insight into what guests think.
