About Nick Papaseraphim
Our family acquired this unique 12-acre estate in 2013, we have been running it as a family business ever since. In the recent years, some of us have moved to Vermont to enjoy the Life-style and nature of this beautiful state and to get more involved with the business. Each family member collaborates in their area to assure a fantastic experience and constantly try to improve our guests' experience. We all love the great outdoors, hence we jumped at the opportunity when this property came on the market. We have made immediate improvements and plan to make many more as time and finances allow. We are humbled to have you as our guests. Your suggestions are welcomed and appreciated as we embark on this new adventure. We look forward to communicating with you.

Why Nick Papaseraphim chose Jeffersonville
The main attribute is the prime location of the property. You will not find another estate privately owned and close enough to Smugglers' Notch in which you can put on your ski boots and walk to the resort. Secondly but equally important, the beautiful views and scenery in this 12-acre estate. You’ll be amazed at the breathtaking grounds and views. My cousin, Kiri, says there is a sort of 'firewall for the mind that keeps you in the moment'. Lastly, the welcoming ambient of the property. The wood finishing and classic decorative style gives and eminent cozy feeling that will mark your stay.
What makes this Chalet unique
A multi ambient property that can host groups of all ages and keep everyone entertained with the exclusive amenities. Smuggler’s Notch Chalet Property is the place where affordable luxury meets comfort. Thanks to the easy access to the Smugglers Sky Resort, many other activities are accessible at our guests' expense. Some activities: snowmobiling, snow tubing, dog sledding, massage & Yoga, children's & adult ski & snowboard lessons, ice skating and evening entertainment.

Size we needed and good location
We needed space for 12 - 6 adults and 6 kids ages 7-9, and wanted to be as close to the mountain as possible. In that sense, this space was perfect. Nick was a good host and answered all questions in advance, including dealing with the errors in the listing he acknowledged were caused by Vrbo, not him. He was responsive to the issues we experienced while there.
Was everything I expected and more. Perfect location with privacy yet very close to the mountain and local stores. Will stay here again.
Great size, love the layout. There were 6 adults, 4 children and we had plenty of space. Kitchen was well equipped. Wonderful fireplace and great quality wood. Created fabulous memories for us.
We all had a wonderful time. Thank you!
Great ski vacation!
Great property and location is amazing. Very helpful manager and responsive owner.
Thank you Marie-France, we loved your group and your kind words
The best of both worlds includes the privacy of 12 acres atop a long private road and the convenience of close proximity to Smugglers Notch Resort (2/10ths of a mile across the road to be exact). Smuggler's was voted #1 Ski Resort in the East by SKI magazine in 2017 and has been voted the #1 Family Resort for fifteen years in a row.
The property allows for year-round activities. Explore 12 acres of wooded terrain. Track animals or admire birds. Roast s'mores by the outdoor fire pit. Sit in the hot tub overlooking the mountains, take a dip in the pool, or swing your racquet on the private tennis court.
Walk to the Brewster River Pub and Grill, at the bottom of the road, for food, beverage, and live music. Or, check out Stella Notte Restaurant and Lounge, at the base of the mountain, just minutes away. Smugglers Notch Resort offers several dining options onsite as well.
Take a short drive to the small town of Jeffersonville just down from the mountain road. Hanley's General Store and The Farm Store offer food, groceries, and Vermont made goods. Head to the Smugglers Notch Distillery to sample the local vodka. Restaurants, like The Mix and 158 Main, allow for dining choices off the mountain.
Last but not least, take a drive or hike through the mountain pass road (Rte. 108) that connects Smugglers Notch and Stowe. This narrow, twisting road delights visitors with natural waterfalls and immense rock cliffs. Best viewed during foliage! Please note, the mountain pass is closed during winter months for safety.
