We had a wonderful stay! The place was exceptionally clean, and the host was easy to reach and responded to all of our questions quickly. The home had everything we needed—and even more. It was very family-friendly, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place for our stay. We would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again!
Host was friendly and very responsive. House was clean, well decorated, and has plenty of spaces to hang out, have conversations, play games, or just relax. We where up for a Wedding, but will be back to visit the trolls!Five Stars all the way around!
What an excellent place for 6 people and a baby. Great location, charming decoration, lots of prestocked drawers of coffee, spices and other food items. Chris the owner was very friendly and in constant communication. No worries about anything. Just pleasure and relaxation!!
We had a wonderful stay. The home was exactly as described, incredibly clean, and stocked with everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with.
Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Loved the Keurig coffee provided at no cost and a welcome basket with treats/snacks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We had a pleasant stay. Your home was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and a great location. Our group enjoyed time on your porch, and the extras you provided, such as the coffee. We would love to stay here any time we are in Detroit Lakes.Thank you for sharing your home.
Beautifully restored older home with all the comforts of home. We really enjoyed the house. It had everything we needed plus more than what you’d expect at a rental. Beds were super comfy and we all slept well. Great location. We will be back if ever in the area again.
Nice home! Great location! Friendly hosts! And CLEAN! We love finding a clean place to stay! Hosts were consistently easy to work with! Great stay! Will come again!
If I could give the host communication higher than five stars, I certainly would. We brought along our dog, and had lots of questions. All questions were answered promptly, and Chris was so helpful! The property guide was also the best I’ve seen and was available digitally before we arrived and in print at the home. The house and yard worked perfectly for what we needed. It was well stocked in every aspect down to doggy treats and toys. The fenced yard was great for throwing a ball. This is an old house that has been very nicely redone, and also still has some old house quirks. Not that impacts our 5 star opinion of this property though! The description posted is accurate. We will definitely book this house again if we are in the area.
Almost everything was above and beyond. The place was stunning and very comfortable for our needs. Our everyday needs were definitely met! For sure we will honor a FIVE STAR STAY!What we were surprised at, is, there was no coffee pot. Even with that said they did supply us with ample Karig pods to go with the Karig brewer. We could have used more *spare* blankets* as the weather was still a bit chilly. The last thing is the leg protectors on the chairs were very flimsy. We spent the majority of our time playing cards. We did scrub away the scuffs that the chair legs made when some of the protectors fell off. Not, of course, to criticize, just to point out. We are definitely considering another stay at Escape on Reynolds in Detroit Lakes MN.Thanks again for a very accommodating stay Chris & Kensie.
We found this rental when we needed to stay for a family funeral. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s very cozy! We loved the front porch and back patio. It’s a quiet neighborhood and nice to take a relaxing walk in. We walked to Lakeside Tavern and we would recommend that restaurant. The host was gracious and checked in regularly! We hope to stay again next time we are in the area.
All around great accommodations! Chris was an excellent host and made everything smooth and easy and comfortable. Last but not least, communication was outstanding.I will definitely refer and use again!Thank you for everything!!
