About this property

Lake Allatoona Vacation Home, Best Views - 9 Person Max, NOT for large groups.

This lakehouse has by far one of the best views of Lake Allatoona in North Georgia. It sits close to the water with 200'+ of water frontage. A large 700 square foot dock with lights and swimming ladder awaits. We are just a few miles from downtown Acworth & LakePoint Sports

The house has had 3 remodels since its purchase in 2008. Families will enjoy the cabin feel of the upstairs and kids will love the huge remodeled basement with plenty of space to keep them occupied when they’re not outside. The kitchen has granite counter tops throughout and stainless steel appliances. Our 2015 remodel extended the house toward the lake and has a very large space for relaxing with a book or entertaining with your family. The house faces the water through double pane glass from one end of the house to the other. Two sets of double French doors pass through to the deck.

In 2021 we updated the exterior (roof, garage, driveway, paint, bathroom remodel and landscape).

There are three decks all together. The main deck spans the length of the house and has a remote controlled 25' SunSetter when shade is preferred. There is a concrete patio a short walk down by the water and a third deck overlooking the side yard where the flat grassy area becomes a great place for playing games or sunbathing. The property is buffered by acres of land on each side insuring privacy.

Convenient to I-75, the house offers easy access to local attractions (Braves, Lake Point Sporting Complex, Golf, and Shopping). Downtown Acworth is just a few miles away and has a wonderful selection of restaurants and night life.

The house has three bedrooms (Queens) on the main level and on the lower level is a fourth bedroom (Queen) and a bonus room with a Queen bed & a bunk bed (twin on top/double on bottom). Bunks are mostly ideal for kids.

You can enjoy the lake view from any number of sitting and sunbathing areas around the outside of the house including several decks/patios.

Lake Allatoona is a Corps of Engineers controlled lake. Unlike many properties on the lake we enjoy year-round water under our dock.

My family travels all over the country playing baseball and this is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Ryan was on top of all details and made the stay very easy. If we are ever in this area again we would love to book again!

The best VRBO on the Lake!

We have stayed for multiple years now when we come down for baseball. Absolute no brainer - esp if you have a boat with you. The house has everything that you need! Great proximity to the fields. The owners are amazing and accommodating. Well worth the $!

Family Adventure

We were in this area for our grandsons baseball games. This house on the lake was our saving grace! Other families were in hotels for 8 days and wished they had rented a house. We fished, swam in cleanest lake, cooked, grilled, had a Ping ball tournament, played cards, and went to baseball games. Perfect trip, thanks to owner and VRBO.

Perfect stay

House and amenities are as listed. The lake view and access is amazing. Our teen boys took over the basement with its separate outdoor space, TV, bathroom and ping pong table for the ideal separation from adults. Host was super responsive. We rented a pontoon boat with tube and the lake was expansive and not crowded even near the holiday. We will definitely rent again if we come back to LakePoint for baseball events.

Great Time Had By All.

This was perfect for our family and out of town guests to enjoy our lake. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The living, dining, kitchen area was very roomy and comfy. Great downstairs area for the kids to have their own space. The view of the lake from the house and decks is wonderful too. We were slightly concerned about only 2 bathrooms for so many people, but it was never a problem at all. Both bathrooms are roomy, no tub though, so if you have a little one who takes baths only this could be a concern. We had 2 babies in our party but they just showered with mom or dad. Overall, great experience. Thank you, Ryan, for sharing your home.

Great Location

The house has everything you need. We love to cook. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of seating indoors & outdoors to have meals together. The view at sunset from the deck is beautiful and with all the huge windows you never miss it. We did bring our boat, and the owner was correct in traffic and tying it up with plenty of bumpers. We boat on the Ohio River, so we had no concerns. Tanyard Boat Ramp is right around the corner and easy to use. The owner does have specific requests, but we agreed with all, so no issue there either. The house has been expanded & updated, but they have managed to keep the lake charm. A huge plus, was the convenience of an Ingles grocery and Race Trac (esp. for ice cream) one mile and a Walmart 4 miles. We like to walk, so nice area to the left of driveway to take a short walk after dinner.

Beautiful View!

Had a 'cousins' get together with eight adults. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed being able to leave the boat and wave runners at the dock so we could jump on whenever we wanted to! Even though it rained one day, we truly appreciated and enjoyed the electric awning so that we could still sit outside and enjoy the day. Second refrigerator in basement was also a big help since we were enjoying all meals at home and needed the extra room. I would say to check with Ryan (owner) if you plan on cooking there to confirm all pots, pans, etc... are available as they were a little lacking. In addition, we needed the 'kids' room (bunk bed room) for adults but those beds were not very conducive for 'adult comfort'. All others seemed to be very comfortable and were enjoyed! Ryan was a fantastic host and was there to help and / or answer any questions we had along the way.

FABULOUS

What a perfect getaway and the owners couldn’t have been nicer! We spent Christmas at this sweet lake house and the owners asked us prior to our arrival if we wanted a Christmas tree. When we arrived, It was decorated beautifully in front of the stunning windows that over looked the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets with amazing views. What a peaceful place to stay with multiple bedrooms, fully equipped with all the necessities. Great location near restaurants, easy access to everything that the owner provided prior to our arrival. The owner Ryan made our week even more special!

Amazing Place and Fun for Everyone!

We had a wonderful time staying at this house on the lake. We were there for my son’s baseball tournament at LakePoint and really enjoyed our time when not playing baseball on the lake skiing and fishing. Relaxing Getaway

The cabin is very comfortable and roomy, which we needed since our family and significant others joined us. The view is amazing! There are so many places to take in the view, including from most of the cabin, a huge deck that has comfortable seating, a lower patio with a swing, a patio half-way to the dock, and of course the dock. Make sure to bring beach/lawn chairs for the dock. Casey's Cabin also has a sunset view!

Beautiful place right on the water that the whole family can enjoy.

We had a amazing time playing in the lake and enjoying the beautiful view from the decks. Grocery store is close and convenient along with restaurants. I would recommend bringing floats and life vests for your stay as the water is deep. There is also plenty of space in the dining areas for the whole family to be together. The house itself has a lot of character. Highly recommend renting Casey’s cabin. Lastly, the owner was easy to get ahold of if needed and great to deal with.

My family and I live in Marietta, GA and this is our weekend/vacation home. It has been a blessing to our family & friends over the years and hope our guests can make as many wonderful memories as we have.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property as a fixer-upper in 2008. We have remodeled it three times (2008, 2015, 2021) including an expansion off the back of the house, finished the basement, new decks, new dock, new appliances, granite countertops, roof, driveway, and much much more!... We opened up the yard to create an amazing view and also redid the entire property putting in zoysia sod. If you are not relaxing, you and your family will have plenty of space and activities with which to play on.

What makes this property unique

We are steps away from the dock and lake. Dock features the ability to tie up to the side if you have a boat or rent one at a nearby marina. We are 2 miles off the interstate and 3 miles from the wonderful small town of Acworth.
