Experience off grid living like a local in this A-frame chalet. The space features a queen bed and a queen futon, perfect for a small group or solo travelers. Located on the property is a clawfoot tub outdoor shower and well stacked outdoor kitchen. This is a great place for travelers with pets. Guests can stay cozy with woodstove heating in the chalet, making it a pleasant retreat after a day of exploring the hundreds of trails, water features the Upper Pack River valley has to offer. Whether you’re relaxing inside or planning your next adventure, this fabulous chalet offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There are two cabins on the property, rent them both for bigger groups. Enjoy your time in the mountains away from everything except nature !

No fires anywhere on property when fire danger is high. Owner will let you know if fires are prohibited before check in.
Please clean up all pet poop. Poop bags are located in the outdoor kitchen and in each cabin.

Best place to go and get away. My dogs also had a blast and enjoyed playing with the super friendly host dogs. Also the best out house Iv ever experienced. The outdoor shower and tub is a great. Beautiful views and good vibes. Definitely coming back!

Hi! I'm Johnny. I am a 4th Generation Alaskan that was lucky enough to travel to North Idaho at a young age. I fell in love with this area right away. I grew competing in downhill skiing and traveled here often to race at Mt. Schweitzer. I love to fish , hike, play disc golf, forage , hunt, camp and cook (Chef). I love to host and this property had that potential written all over it when I first saw it. Now it is ready for all of you to enjoy!

This area is so quiet. Tucked away in the woods, yet reachable to civilization. There are endless trails and water features all over the Upper Pack River Valley. It brings me peace and serenity. Its a way of live to live up here full time, but easy to enjoy for just a quick stay.

Being off grid is unique in itself. The artesian mountain water well that comes from the mountains, not relying on public utilities, hearing the river and creek flowing all make this place amazing.
