THE EXPERIENCE
Sunset Retreat is a lower-level suite designed to capture the best of Curaçao’s West coast. Perfectly oriented toward the Caribbean horizon, it offers a front-row seat to the island’s famous sunsets. Its hilltop position brings a steady, cooling trade-wind breeze that helps reduce mosquitoes and keeps the terrace comfortable as the day cools down.

Smartly designed and well-proportioned, this 1BR suite delivers clean, modern comfort in a quiet setting - ideal for couples, or small families who want space without renting an entire villa.

• Bedroom:Queen bed with quality mattress, reading lights, USB outlet and built-in closet
• En-suite bathroom with walk-in rain shower, vanity, toilet, and hairdryer
• Pull-out sofa: The sofa in the living room converts into a bed that can accommodate up to two small children. The size of the mattress is 6.2 x 5 feet (190x150cm)

• New energy-efficient air conditioning and ceiling fan
• High-quality screens on windows so you can enjoy the breeze while staying comfortable and insect-free

Everything you need to prepare meals on-site, from quick breakfasts to full dinners:

SUSTAINABILITY & UTILITIES
We operate with “shared stewardship” of our island’s resources:
• The Breeze
Hilltop airflow along with screens on all external doors & windows often reduce the need for constant AC.
• Electricity
10 kWh/day is included; excess billed at $0.40/kWh.
• Water
High-quality desalinated tap water (safe and great to drink); we encourage tap use to reduce plastic waste.
• Additional Guests
Base rates are inclusive up to 2 guests; extra child fees ($10 USD/night per child after 2 guests) apply at booking.
• Washer
Access to a washing machine in the shared utility area is available upon request for $8 USD per load (detergent included).

• Pool etiquette: Infinity pool is for quiet enjoyment only; no jumping or diving.
• Safety: Please enjoy the pool and views responsibly; there is no lifeguard on duty.
• Non-smoking: 100% smoke-free property (including all outdoor areas)
• Host support: The estate includes a separate on-site residence that is inhabited year-round, helping ensure the property remains secure, quiet, and in excellent condition. While your suite remains completely private, this discreet presence offers peace of mind and prompt support if needed. Guests also appreciate having access to local insight and island recommendations that help make their stay effortless and memorable.
