Always a peaceful Stay
I recommend this cottage for those not looking for super modern facilities, but more for those looking for peace and quiet and a serene atmosphere. This was my 4th or 5th trip and I love this cottage- has an L-shaped design so, even tho a studio, feels like there is a little more room. Definitely has a creative and artsy feeling- not a sterile atmosphere. Street parking is easy and so much available in the area. Tricia and her daughter are lovely. No dishwasher, so light cooking advised, but who wants to cook with the fantastic restaurants around in Pasadena?
Great little guest house
We had a lovely two week stay here. Tricia has everything you need and is extremely helpful. Love the pool and hot tub. Perfect area, close to everything.
A quaint cottage that is ideal for couples, set in a quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful outdoor space that is sheltered from the wind, and surrounded by gardens. Everything is fully stocked inside with everything to cook, do laundry and enjoy tv. It even has a grill for outdoor cooking. Parking is easy, free and available. There is a unheated pool ( you can pay to have it heated ) and a hot tub. The host is very friendly and helpful.
A nice place - but had mildewy smell
We stayed in the guest house this last Christmas. I personally thought it was nice, but some of us in our family thought the mildewy smell coming from the shower was quite unpleasant. Altogether a good experience and the host was great, but it was unfortunate the place has a smell.
So sorry you experienced the bad odor...I wish you had said something at the time, upon receipt of your review we sought out the origin and discovered a plumbing problem outside...it has since been resolved and the odor is dispelled...thank you...tricia
Love this place! Such a peaceful Oasis from the bustle of LA tourist spots. Great to come back after a long day to this privacy.
Much better kitchen than most vacation rentals--quite complete. Great outdoor space to relax and dine. Bed pillows could use replacing, and the volume of decorative pillows makes it hard to find a place to sit. Otherwise, comfortable and cozy. Recommended!
Delightful spot to relax among plants & solitude.
