"Spent 5 nights here in September - house and host met all our expectations for a very pleasant and relaxing stay. From start to finish Paul was prompt and diligent in dealing with all our queries and ensured we got what we needed to know when we needed it. House was in excellent condition. For us (2couples) it suited perfectly to have 2 private bedrooms with ensuites. Paul was attentive but discreet at all times. No hesitation in recommending this property."

  • Bahia Vista. Large and inviting

"It's a walk into Avalon, about 6 blocks for groceries. Good exercise! We enjoyed our stay on the island."

"This was the perfect house for our families to all stay together for our trip to LA. We chose this lovely home based on the reviews and the photos but we had no idea how much character and charm it really has in person. This roomy well thought out floor plan was perfect for our mini family reunion. We had five adults and two small children everyone had their own comfortable sleeping retreat and the massive living room/kitchen common area was so nice for everyone to be together for family time. This quaint neighborhood has a close proximity to the freeways and is ideal for pretty much anything in and around LA. AJ, the owner, made our stay even nicer by focusing on the nice little details. I highly recommend this original mid-century property. It's so worth it!"

  • Great Location!

"The property is exactly as described. It's an easy walk to several shops/bars/restaurants. The "steps" are a very short walk/run, then the pier is a couple miles away through Palisades Park on top of the bluffs. I recommend taking the lower, beach path back to the apartment. Hopefully, we will be able to stay there again."
