The Space:

The space

Enjoy the warmth and personality of a historic Prescott Craftsman with the modern conveniences needed for a comfortable stay. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom front home features thoughtful updates while preserving original details such as rich wood floors, classic trim, large windows, and an inviting covered porch.

Living area: The welcoming living room features comfortable seating, natural light, rich woodwork, and colorful accent walls. It’s an easy place to relax, visit with family, or unwind after exploring downtown Prescott.

Kitchen and dining: The bright, updated kitchen includes granite countertops, a farmhouse sink, modern appliances, and a spacious breakfast bar. The open layout makes it easy to prepare meals while staying connected with the rest of the group.

Bedrooms: Three separate bedrooms with three beds provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to six guests. Bed linens are included.

Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms offer convenience for families, couples, and groups. Towels and essential bath amenities are provided.

Outdoor space: Begin the morning with coffee on the covered front porch or relax in the front home’s designated fenced yard. The outdoor space provides a comfortable setting for fresh air and quiet time between outings.

The home is conveniently located near downtown Prescott, putting the Courthouse Square, Whiskey Row, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, galleries, and community events within easy reach.

Guest Access:

Guests will have private access to the entire front home, including all three bedrooms, both bathrooms, the kitchen, living and dining areas, covered front porch, and designated fenced yard.

A separate guest cottage is located behind the home. Cottage guests have their own private interior, entrance, and yard. The rear cottage and its yard are not included with the front-house rental.

The Neighborhood:

The home is located in an established Prescott neighborhood near downtown. The Courthouse Square, Whiskey Row, local restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, galleries, and seasonal events are within walking distance. Lakes, hiking trails, and the Granite Dells are a short drive away.

Getting Around:

Many downtown attractions can be reached on foot from the home. A vehicle is recommended for visiting Watson Lake, Lynx Lake, the Granite Dells, trailheads, and destinations outside central Prescott. Parking and arrival instructions will be provided before check-in.

Other Things to Note:

A separate vacation cottage is located behind the main home. Each rental has its own private interior, entrance, and designated yard. Rear-cottage guests may use an exterior access path alongside the main house when arriving or leaving, so front-house guests may occasionally see or hear them near that side of the property.

This is an older historic home with the character and occasional quirks that come with its age. The home accommodates a maximum of six guests across three bedrooms and three beds. Pets and parties or events are not permitted.

Interaction with Guests:

Guests can enjoy privacy throughout their stay. The Host Co. team is available to answer questions, provide local recommendations, or assist if anything is needed. Guests staying in the rear cottage do not manage the front home.

We appreciated the cleanliness of the home and the effort put into maintaining the property. Our visit was for a graduation, and we were looking forward to having a comfortable space to relax and visit together—having a couch or more suitable seating would have made that much easier.Additionally, there is a resident living in a separate space behind the home, which we were not fully prepared for, and a nearby neighbor was quite inquisitive and approached us multiple times. This made the stay feel less private and, at times, uncomfortable. There was also noticeable traffic noise from nearby Sheldon in the evenings, which could be heard inside the home. For those seeking a more secluded and relaxed environment, this is something to keep in mind. With a bit more transparency and a few added comforts, this property could offer a much better experience.
