The location is extremely unique. The property borders a beautiful state park/forest (Point Beach State Park)which has miles of hiking trails, bike trails, a centry old light house, and miles of beautiful sandy beach. The city of Two Rivers is one of those quaint friendly towns with lots of history related to the lake. Charter fishing is one of the best on the great lakes.
Our property also is only 11 steps higher than the beach so not many steps to climb.
Dense woods that brings many types of wildlife. Deer, Red Fox, Bald Eagles to name a few. The home is very large with 5 seperate bedrooms, a very large great room, large rec room with lots of games. Also has a number of private areas to just read or study. Even with 18 people, you never seem like the house is full.
I just spent 2 days at the Beach House and Biked the Rawling trail and Mariner's trail (They connect to each other). They are absolutely wonderful trails! The Rawling trail runs through dense forest for 5 miles and the Mariner's trail runs right next to the lake for another 7 miles. To get to the trails from the Beach House, you simply ride right from our driveway over to "O" (Designated Wisconsin "Rustic Road") 35 MPH with very little traffic 1.3 miles to the Point Beach Forest entrance road and you are there! September and October are Absolutely Beautiful! The forest colors will be starting to turn and you can take them all in on the miles and miles of hiking and biking trails right from our doorstep! Get a group of couples together for a midweek or weekend getaway for some biking/hiking and relaxation. Family reunions are our specialty so don't forget about Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years! Get the whole extended family together for sharing those special moments. 3 fireplaces plus our outdoor firepit will provide some special moments as well. Our decorating theme is "Nautical" and we have collected many great pieces to create this theme for our special guests. The game room is a very special place and is hard to leave even when it's great weather out side. We have billiards, darts, and foosball.

We were a family group of 14 adult cousins (singles & couples) and 2 aunts. This house in Two Rivers turned out to be perfect for us. The most impressive thing about this house is that it sits right on Lake Michigan! There is a deck that overlooks the water and a never ending view! We enjoyed watching the white pelicans from the decks of the house or even sitting inside the house. The house is plenty big to accommodate large groups and we were all able to sit and dine together. We found that the home was well stocked with towels and linens and we were pleased to find a pillow pantry! There were plenty of restaurants, wineries and things to do within a short drive. And if you decide to take a longer drive you can be at the northern tip of Door County in about 2 hours. The host, Tom, was always quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this home and hope to return again some day.
This was the first "Family" trip my entire family has ever taken and this place couldn't have accommodated us any better. With 14 of us (8 adults and 6 kids) there was fun for all ages, more than enough space for all to entertain ourselves, and then there is the beach...Finally the host (Tom) was so responsive, educational and all around helpful in ensuring that our stay was memorable. Thank you so much for the opportunity and hopefully we have an opportunity to come back in the near future.
Our multi-generational family just completed our 4th stay at the beach house, and we keep returning for many reasons. The house is spacious enough to allow for multiple activities, is well supplied with housewares, linens, etc, and is located in a convenient spot for beach lovers and for exploring the area. Packer fans enjoyed Lambeau field, the golfers loved Fox Hills, and the kids were thrilled with Bay Beach amusement park. Lake Michigan was higher than in past years, but it was still possible to swim, build sand castles, or walk along the shore. The only fly in the ointment is that the internet/cell phone connection is sporadic, but that kept us engaged with our family!
We loved the Beach House! The location was quiet and secluded with lots of beach and woods to explore. Lake Michiga was COLD (52 degrees), but the kids all loved the beach. It is shallow and sandy out to about 30 yards, so we didn't have to worry about them falling in. The house is put together in a way that there are two bedrooms with double beds together and the other 3 bedrooms are spaced apart so that we didn't hear the other couples/families during the night. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had foosball and pool tournaments late at night and a treasure hunt during the day. The owner was very helpful with recommendations on docking our boat, etc. I can't imagine a more relaxing, fun place to get togther with friends and family.
What a beautiful home in such a quiet area and gorgeous setting! Our group (Grandma, 3 adult kids and their families--11 total) had lots of room to spread out with the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, huge dining table, and rec room. Beach access, the sounds/sights of waves and water and walking to the adjacent state park was wonderful. We brought our bikes (also rentals available in Two Rivers or Manitowoc) and there is a bike trailhead accessible at the park which is a very short ride from this house.
There were times when Mother Nature didn't want us playing outside but not to worry--this house has everything you need! Pool table, foosball, card tables and lots of comfy chairs to flop into and read or watch a DVD. This house is well maintained and loaded with quality furniture, fixtures and appliances. It is obvious the owners love and maintain this home meticulously. Thank you for sharing this and giving this family the opportunity to create more fun family memories!
This place is absolutely wonderful! The owner is very easy to work with and very helpful. The location is gorgeous. The home is very nice and large but at the same time it is also very comfortable and cozy. There are lots of nice areas in the home for those who like to curl up with a book or knit and lots of nice space in the home for larger group mingling. This home and location exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it!
Area just voted Number 2 in the whole world for Golf!! (according to Conde Nast magazine) Hiking, Enjoy the Fall Colors, you name it! Reserve your week or weekend Now!
