Villa Neptuno - bahía de Keramoti - Creta occidental: la villa se encuentra en el pueblo costero de Livadia, bahía de Keramoti, Innahorion, en la parte suroeste de Creta, a una distancia de 72 km de Chania y 31 km de Kissamos. Se puede acceder a la villa a través de un camino de 4 km de largo que está conectado a la carretera provincial regional. El pueblo está ubicado en el medio de la ruta de senderismo europea E4, una ruta costera de excepcional belleza natural, que comienza en el pueblo de Kambos y continúa a través de los pueblos de Keramoti, Livadia, Chryssoskalitissa y Elafonisi. La ruta es típico de la belleza natural de Creta, con cambios sorprendentes del paisaje entre olivos y acacias y rocas del mar por la intemperie de negro y rojo lava volcánica.

Pocas imágenes de Creta se pueden comparar con la vista justo antes del último giro del camino a Elafonisi ... En el pueblo de Livadia, la compra de alimentos todavía se realiza de la manera tradicional: puede comprar pescado de los pescadores en el pequeño puerto, verduras, productos lácteos y carne de los agricultores, pero también encontrará tres pequeñas tabernas. Hay un mini mercado en el pueblo de Kefali y supermercados más grandes en los pueblos de Platanos y Kissamos. Una estación de servicio se encuentra a unos 11 km de distancia en el pueblo de Elos.

Nota :: La familia que limpia la villa, habla inglés y puede cocinar para los inquilinos de la villa una gran variedad de platos tradicionales de Creta. Los inquilinos pueden comprar pescado fresco de Vasilis, el joven que limpia la piscina pero que también tiene un bote de pesca y va a pescar regularmente. Si lo desea, puede pedirle que lleve a pescar con él o puede fletar su barco para un viaje en bote a Elafonisi, Paleohora o Falasarna. El mar está a sólo 60 metros de la villa, pero también hay muchas playas a unos 100 m de distancia, así como la exquisita playa de Elafonisi a una distancia de unos 15-20 minutos en coche. Epic views and bountiful breakfast baskets

My family of five adults had an idyllic week at this unique villa built high into a rocky promontory with sweeping views of the rugged coastline of beautiful, unspoiled western Crete. We spent our days visiting spectacular beaches and tavernas overlooking the sea and beautiful mountain scenery. We loved waking up every morning to fabulous breakfast baskets provided by our very responsive host, Christos, feasting on Cretan honey, fresh bread, eggs, yogurt with nuts and little pastries. A wonderful treat every day! Also loved the stairway down to the secluded bay where we snorkeled in crystal water. But some of the best times were spent just chilling on the villa’s deck and infinity pool overlooking the epic ocean and coastal views. The roads in the area can be a little windy, narrow and rough, but we enjoyed our encounters with roadside herds of goats and sheep going about their daily rounds. A truly memorable villa in a less-traveled part of Crete with great hosts.

Einmalige Aussicht

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, das Ferienhaus liegt traumhaft schön an einem Felsen. Nur wenige Ferienhäuser teilen sich eine Bucht. Der Strand ist steinig, das Wasser ist klar und wie man es sich im Urlaub wünscht! Die Lage ist an sich wirklich herrlich, der Blick aufs Meer traumhaft schön, man hat komplett seine Ruhe, allerdings gibt es in der näheren Umgebung kaum etwas. Wir haben zu einem kleinen Supermarkt etwa 40 Minuten Autofahrt gebraucht. Ich hätte mir vorab gewünscht, dass das eindeutiger kommuniziert wird, denn dann hätten wir bei Chania (Flughafen) ausgiebiger eingekauft. Auch Restaurants, Tavernen, Eisdielen oder eine Flaniermeile gibt es nicht. Zur nächsten Taverne muss man mindesten 30 Minuten mit dem Auto planen, allerdings gestalten sich die Fahrten auf Kreta abenteuerlich, aufgrund der schlechten Straßenqualität. Man bekommt täglich einen Frühstückskorb geliefert, darin enthalten war frische Milch, selbstgem. Limo, griech. Spezialitäten, salzig & süß, mal griech. Joghurt oder Müsli, immer ein Brot, Butter, Marmelade & Honig. Dazu noch frisches, geschnittenes Obst - das war wirklich toll! Die Unterkunft wird alle 2-3 Tagen gereinigt, das Personal war sehr freundlich und gründlich. Wir hatten einen medizinischen Notfall, Christos, der Ansprechpartner vor Ort, war sofort zur Stelle und hat uns geholfen einen Arzt zu organisieren und auch die nächste Apotheke ausfindig zu machen - vorbildlich. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen

Incredible Seaside Retreat!

Wow! What a fabulous place! The villa was even better than depicted in the photos. The pool and views were incredible. The villa itself was well-appointed and worked perfectly for us with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We looked forward to our breakfast basket arriving each morning and discovering what scrumptious treats were included that day. The table on the lawn was perfect for breakfast. Lounging in the pool and enjoying the view was a wonderful way to spend each afternoon. One of the best features of the villa is Filippa, the residential manager. She was terrific and accommodating with our questions and requests. We felt like we had made a great new friend! We already look forward to returning to “our” villa in the hopefully near future.

Relaxing luxury

Lovely comfortable villa with all the comfort & convinces of home. Very secluded and private. Breakfast provided was an absolute feast, we loved the morning surprise. Some good simple local restaurants s few minutes drive away which we are at at very little cost . The villa is a long way from the supermarket so stock up well on the way at the supermarket. If you like action and want to be in the thick of it this isn’t the villa for you. If you want peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting I can’t revommend this property highly enough.

SIMPLY AMAZING

Crete at it´s very best. Stunning Location, nestled in the cliffs above the Lybian Sea. Enjoy Your SUNSET downer in the pool, while the horizon gradually darkens. It´s an exeptional experience residing in this property, NEPTUNE (better would be POSEIDON) is program, because what You will never forget is the sea view, south along the coastline to the lagoon of Elafonisi, West into the sunset. It´s a synfonie in BLUE, Neptuns colour. The house got everything You Need, all in luxourius simplizity. Even the very rough sand road leading to Neptune is part of the plan SPLENDID ISOLATION! I highly recommend the sun platform 30 m mean sea Level lower, reached by a path just south the Villa, situated in fantastic rock formations. The sea at the platform is beautiful, full of fish and colours. Famous Elafonisi is a MUST (and only 20 Minutes away if You take the coastal road through Livadia - very nice Tavern there (the closest to Neptune), Balos Lagoon in the North Gramvoussa Peninsula is the second MUST SEE I recommend, in Kaliviani up there You will find the best Tavern in whole Crete: Gramvoussa Tavern, try all Meze (!) but You will neeed 5 visits there. House Staff in Neptune is great (3 times cleaning a week), Gregory very helpful if You need anything, even fresh fish from local fishermen to cook Yourself in the very well equipped kitchen. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Location, Lovely House

We stayed for 2 weeks in August 2016. I booked this villa because of the location and the facilities, especially the pool. It didn't disappoint! We loved being by the pool and listening to the waves breaking on the beach below. The pool itself was excellent for swimming lengths, games and relaxing. We are a family of five with three teenagers and everyone loved the holiday. The location is stunning - on a headland in the middle of nowhere. If you need nightlife, good roads and shops within walking distance, go somewhere else. The roads are quite scary and the last bit is completely unmade, but it's worth it when you get there. There's a path down to the quiet beach and an area where you can get in and snorkel easily. Elafonisi Beach is a 20 minute drive along easy roads compared to most of the roads in the area- go early and leave at lunchtime if you are in high season as half the world turns up in buses from 12 - 2pm. The villa had everything we needed to a high standard, including very welcome air con - it was very hot! Gregory and Natasha were very helpful and sorted out any issues that arose. All in all we had a superb, relaxing holiday and would love to go again.

Fabulous property with wonderful views

This was a family holiday with friends that met our expectations 100%. Wonderful villa with amazing views 20 mins from Elefonisi beach...what more could one ask for. We never wanted for anything and if we did need something a quick phone call and it was on the doorstep within the hour. We cannot say enough about the villa, the location and the way we were looked after. Incredible!!

Perfect! This villa is something special

We stayed in the Villa Neptune for 7 days in May. We have stayed in many villas and i can say that this was one of the best. The villa itself and the location are superb - being only approx 1.5-2 hr drive from Chania Airport. The quality of the furnishing, cleanliness and facilities are 5 star, providing all the comforts of home and more. Natasha and her staff could not have been more helpful. We definitely hope to be back and would have no hesitation in recommending Elafonisi Villas. The villa is remote, but that is one of its attractions - however there is a couple of tavernas within 15-20 minute walk of the villa ran by Giannis and his family. He is an excellent cook and offers a delivery service! The famous Elafonisi beach is within a 25 minute drive, but we would highly recommend the Samarian Gorge which is approx 2 hour drive from the villa but is well worth the drive. We would highly recommend Crete, and would definitely recommend Elafonisi Villas.

A perfect escape in remote hideaway in Crete

Our stay at the Villa Neptune was in mid April, but its positioning facing south, in the lee of the cliffs behind and high on a promontory, meant that we were largely protected from any cold northerly winds and we benefited from almost endless daily sunshine. The villa is in a fairly remote part of the West Coast of Crete, yet it is not too far from the towns of the North-West coast. Such a location represents a wonderful escape from the bustle of life in northern Europe The local village of Livadia is only a few minutes drive away and as other reviewers have written, Yanni’s restaurant there provides excellent food, some supplied by his mother’s farm. The villa was modern, spacious and well maintained with a much bigger pool than usual. One could sunbathe, or shelter from the sun in an ample shaded area and it was a treat to be able to rest by the pool with the only sound to be heard being the lapping of the waves on the rocks and beach below. The caretaker visited daily, though we found it unnecessary to ask for any special assistance. We loved every minute of our time there.

Amazing villa, total luxury

We wish we could have stayed longer! The villa is beautifully designed and very luxurious. The setting is simply stunning with total seclusion, peace and quiet. Everything was well attended to, the owner and caretaker were very responsive to any questions we had. The best villa we have rented and we will be returning!

Villa Neptune - April 2014

We had a fantastic week in Villa Neptune. The setting is wonderful - remote with beautiful views. Natasha, Gregory and Irene were all extremely friendly and helpful. The children loved the pool and the views sitting on the patio with uninterrupted views of the sea and coast are wonderful. Do visit Yannis's taverna in Livadia and it is also worth treating yourself to some of his meals which he will bring to the villa. Elafonisi and Balos Beaches are truly beautiful. It is worth doing your main shop in Kissamos on your way to the villa. This is an incredibly beautiful and unspoilt area of Crete and we loved every minute of our week. Thank you, we will be back!

Ett fntastiskt fint boende

Först och främst vill vi tacka Grigoris som välkomnade oss och erbjöd oss en god service under hela vistelsen. Resan från flygplatsen till villan var något lång men vi passade på att njuta av den vackra kretanska miljön på vägen. Vårt boende höll högsta klass och översteg hela familjens förventningar. Arkitekturen, utsikten och miljön i helhet är något vi svårt kommer att glömma. Något jag varmt rekomenderar är att besöka de fantastiskt vackra stränderna kring elafonisi. Att börja dagen med en cykeltur och därefter svalka sig i polen är något jag gjorde dagligen. När jag sitter här hemma i vintermörkret och tänker på den fantastiska semestern längtar jag tillbaka, jag ser redan nu fram emot nästkommande sommar.

Villa Neptun-Wir kommen wieder!

Es hat uns heuer im Sommer (August 2012) in der Villa Neptun so gut gefallen, dass wir fuer nächstes Jahr schon wieder gebucht haben . Das exzellent ausgestattete Haus , die gute Versorgung und vor allem die einzigartige Lage und Aussicht haben uns überwältigt. Unsere ursprünglichen Bedenken wegen der wirtschaftlichen Lage Griechenlands waren völlig unbegründet. Alles war bestens! Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Urlaub in der Villa Neptun/Livadia im Sommer 2013.

Love this house......

Is difficult for me and my family to change from this wonderful location. If you like cosy and warm welcome, secluded places and quiet, a wonderfule nature landscape both on the sea and with only 20minutes drive in the mountains for hicking together with excellent fish and meat food in the neighbourod this is the place!!!! We have been there already twice and will come back for sure.... We have also sent thEre several friends and the comments are always the same Great greay place!!!!

Exceptionnel ! Nous sommes restés à la villa Neptune du 14 au 28 juillet 2012 avec nos 4 jeunes gens. Merveilleuse situation au bout d'un piton rocheux surplombant la mer et une petite crique de galets juste en contre bas; une situation du bout du monde et là l'improbable se matérialise: une villa de rêve digne des plus beaux magazines... La vue,la petite plage de galets,la mer,le ciel ...tout ce que vous voyez de la villa ...juste pour vos yeux seuls... Que dire de cette piscine merveilleuse où les bleus de l'eau et de la mer se fondent..et des étoiles filantes du ciel le soir les pieds dans le jacuzzi... Villa à l'architecture sobre et luxueuse à la fois vraiment très bien conçue- Propreté impeccable à l intérieur- équipement ultra complet- Accueil adorable de Grégory qui nettoie piscine et villa régulièrement- De très bonnes tavernes aux alentours et une plage-lagon de sable rose à seulement 12 km de la villa à Elafonisi,des trekkings dans les gorges,des visites culturelles à Héraklion, Chania et même Knossos (3h route aller) Pour le ravitaillement un petit conseil si famille nombreuse comme nous : faites le plein à Chania en arrivant car la villa est assez loin des supermarchés..grand frigo et freezer dans la cuisine Nous conseillons vraiment cette villa à tous ceux qui aiment se ressourcer en pleine nature, au calme, loin de toute agitation touristique..un petit coin de paradis à coup sûr !!!

Tolle Villa mit atemberaubendem Meerblick

Die Villa liegt an einer einsamen Bucht fernab vom Massentourismus und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Küste und das blaue Meer. Es herrscht absolute Ruhe, so dass in der villa neptune erholsame Tage garantiert sind. Wir haben die Woche dort sehr genossen !!

Astonishing luxurious villa in best part of Crete

During the early summer of 2012, form July 7 to 14, we stayed in villa Neptune, in Livadia with our three teenage children. The villa itself was marvelous and well-cared for, situated on a rock (or small cape) rising out of the sea. We had a stunning view of the coastline, the village of Livadia and surrounding hills from the terrace and out of the pool. Everything in the villa was arranged to make us feel comfortable and at home, leaving us the option to cook (or barbeque) instead of eating out. The villa was taken care of by Gregory, who was highly reliable and helpful. Our expectations based on the description and pictures were easily outdone. Despite what some of us might think because of the economic situation in Greece, we had un-interrupted access to electricity, internet, water (hot and cold). We had lunch and dinner in various places in the neighborhood or returning from the beach at Elafonisi. Without exception, we felt welcome guests and everyone we met was helpful and seemed to appreciate our visit. We shopped for regular groceries in Kissamos (about 30 km’s away, 50 min's), where we also met locals who despite their economic worries showed us their Greek hospitality. To get there and around one definitely needs a car and GPS. The beautiful beaches of Elafonisi are about 25 min's away, some of the mini-markets and taverna's may take a 20 min drive There is also a very nice local restarant in Livadia, that is said to even deliver to the villa. We will certainly return in the near future and highly recommend this part of Crete and villa Neptune to anyone interested to spend a unique vacation in relative luxury. Family van E. (Netherlands)

Villa Neptun-traumhaft !

Unser 1-wöchiger Urlaub in der Villa Neptun,Livadia war einfach traumhaft! Die stylische Villa bietet allen Komfort und hat in jeder Hinsicht unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.Die Lage direkt an einen Felsen geschmiegt, mit uneinsehbarem Jakuzi (mit gigantischem Meerblick) ist paradiesisch. Der Pool mit der überwältigenden ,atemberaubenden Aussicht auf die Bucht und das weite Meer ist sicherlich das Highlight der Villa. Wir haben auf unseren vielen Urlaubsreisen noch keinen vergleichbar schön angelegten Pool erlebt. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch Mr.Gregory war bestens. Er ist freundlich, jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir konnten jeden Abend die hervorragenden traditionell zubereiteten griechischen Speisen aus der nahegelegenen Taverne am Pool geniesen,da uns der Inhaber der Taverne,Hr. Yanis das Essen täglich persönlich mit dem Auto gebracht hat. Wir haben einfach nur telefonisch bestellt und Yanis hat die frisch zubereiteten Speisen mit freundlichen Worten geliefert. Allgemein können wir eine Urlaubsreise nach Kreta sehr empfehlen. Unsere ursprünglichen leichten Bedenken wegen der sogenannten Griechenland-Krise wurden gänzlich beseitigt. Wir haben davon während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes nichts bemerkt. Die Menschen sind ausgesprochen freundlich,man fühlt sich in jeder Hinsicht sicher und gut aufgehoben. Ausserdem ist alles in den Mini-markets (kleine gut sortierte Geschäfte)zu erhalten,was das Herz begehrt. Die Urlaubswoche ist viel zu schnell vergangen und der Abschied ist uns sehr schwer gefallen. "Das war die schönste Urlaubswoche meines Lebens!" (Originalzitat meiner Frau Barbara) Für meine Frau war es "die schönste Urlaubswoche ihres Lebens".

Wir haben zwei tolle Wochen in der Villa Neptune verbracht und die Ruhe und das traumhafte Panorama genossen. Der Outdoor-Jacuzzi war das Highlight sowie der 19 Meter lange Infinity Pool. Die Betreuung durch den Besitzer sowie dem Verwalter Mr. Gregory war vorbildlich. Mr. Gregory war jederzeit greifbar und hat sich hervorragend um alles gekümmert. Die Ausstattung der gepflegten Villa läßt keine Wünsche offen (viele deutsche Fernsehprogramme sind ebenfalls gut empfangbar). Wir haben auf Kreta ausschließlich freundliche, sympathische und aufgeschlossene Menschen getroffen. Falls man keine Lust hat selbst zu kochen steht Janis von der nahegelegenen Taverne mit seinen Kochkünsten gerne zur Verfügung. Auf Wunsch liefert er das Essen auch frei Haus oder kocht sogar in der Villa. Es war rundum ein erholsamer und fantastischer Urlaub in dem man seinen Alltagsstress hinter sich lassen konnte. Die Villa ist sehr empfehlenswert und wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Perfect villas in excellent location

Excellent villas in unique, spellbounding place away from it all - perfect sea view - one can not imagine better one, huge vast area in front of your eyes. The property is superbly maintained, clean with excellent design. Nice pools with perfect sea views. This region of Western Crete is also very charming, with not too many tourists, perfect tavernas with really local food, great hospitality. Perfect fish from local fisherman. Tha car is a must of course - nice trips to Elafonisi and Phalasarna (great sand and unique colour of the water). Also to recommend nice three fish restaurants in Sfinari with excellent beach (swimming shoes highly recommended). In summary Innahorion villas have great location which are perfectly maintained, very friendly with great Cretean atmosphere. Highly recommended !

Amazing villa on an amazing island

We stayed with a group of friends at the Neptune Villa for a week in June. The villa was fantastic - even better than the photos! We were a group of 6 so the 3 bedrooms worked out perfectly. It is very isolated so we spent 3 days just at the villa hanging out the pool and grilling which was fun but you shouldn't expect to see a lot of Crete from the villa. We went into Chania one night, hiked the Samaria Gorge one day, and went to Elafonisi beach one day. The tavern in Livadia owned by Giannis is excellent and he will deliver whatever meals you'd like at the villa. Also, his girlfriend will come over for poolside manicures/pedicures. The caretaker of the villa - Mr Alberto - was extremely helpful. You can text him and he'll bring you anything you'd like from the store although you will need to shop in Chania or Kissimos before heading down to the villa. Excellent customer service. We all loved the villa and would highly recommend it.
