About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2+2

This charming apartment belongs to a sixteenth century small building that has a lot of character. An elevator can be used to transport only your luggage to the second Italian floor. The apartment has a lovely and elegant parquet floor, air conditioning, central heating and WiFi Internet access. A comfortable kitchen is at the entrance between the living room and the bedroom. It is well equipped with electric stove, kettle, dishwasher and fridge and freezer. The living room is very spacious, a lovely table, 2 big sofas, pillows, library, flat 36 TV, lamp compose the living room. The sofa is ideal to host up to two people. The very high ceilings are made up with original wooden decoration! The bathroom is just next to the bedroom, it has a shower and has been completely renovated. The master bedroom has a standard double Italian bed 160cm wide, a closet, night tables, abat-jours. We recommend this extremely centrally located unit to young people, adult couples and small families. The location is just amazing as behind Pantheon! From here u can reach the most important site in rome, Navona, Trevi Fountain, Campo dei Fiori, Spanish steps, Jewish Ghetto, and within a short walk Vatican and Trastevere! You will love this place.

Please, always keep in mind that this flat is part of an apartment building. You are kindly requested to maintain a proper behaviour during your stay.

As we were unpacking, I warned my husband that I wasn't unpacking, I was moving in... read all the reviews and you'll understand why...

So much charm and character - just perfect!

  • 5 of 5

This beautifully and tastefully decorated apartment is situated right near the Pantheon in the historic area of Rome. The apartment building is on a short dead end street so it is very quiet and without any passing traffic.

The living room is huge! It has a wonderful dining table and chairs and two very large lounge suites which pull out into very large double beds. My family said the beds in the lounge suites where to most comfortable they had slept on during our four week holiday.

There is a fully fitted out kitchen with all you need to cook meals plus an extra table and chairs for breakfast.

It has a roomy master bedroom with a very large bathroom. Plenty of storage and closet space and the bed linen and towels were all top quality.

The apartment has all of the modern conveniences we needed – including a washing machine and dish washer.

It is very conveniently located close to restaurants, bars, trams and is within easy walking distance of shopping precinct and most points of interest around Rome.

Our host, Lucia, was very welcoming and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. She even arranged our transport to the airport and provided storage for our luggage for the day when we checked out.

If you stay in this apartment you will not be disappointed. We left with very fond memories of this, our favorite apartment in Europe.

I highly recommend it!

Thank you Lucia.

Wonderful apartment perfectly located

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here in June for 8 nights. It was just what we needed at the end of a long vacation in Italy. The apartment is well furnished and very comfortable. It is located in the heart of tourist Rome, just a few minutes walk from the Pantheon, in a small cul-de-sac. The apartment and street are absolutely quiet! The owners gave us well-considered restaurant recommendations and there was a bottle of prosecco in the fridge! The supermarket is a 5 minute walk away. Piazza Venezia and the tram to the Trastevere are 5 minutes away as is Via Corso with many bus routes. Most tourist locales are within easy walking distance. I would give this property highest recommendation and definitely stay here when we return to Rome.

Excellent location, beautiful apartment!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is great! My husband and I just ended our 15 day trip to Italy with 3 nights in Rome. We walked to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Vatican Museum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain. This place is in the midst of it all but located on an extremely quiet dead end street. I'm serious, no noise! This was the first place in all of Italy that we stayed where there was no noise. We were given excellent recommendations for dinner and shopping for groceries. We even found a few great places of our own. The apartment is fully stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals if you want. There's even a washer if you need to wash your clothes. The bed is big and there are two sofa's in the living room so we each got our own when relaxing after a day of walking the beautiful city. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Lucia!

Great apartment in a great location

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is lovely, as shown in the photos, clean, and in good condition. The entrance is into the kitchen. The bedroom is to the right of the kitchen when you enter, with the bathroom off of it, and the spacious living/dining area is to the left. Both sofas are sofa beds. Each essentially unfolds into a mattress on slats, as opposed to the pullout metal frame type, so they are low to the ground, but there's no bar across your back when you are trying to sleep. There are interior shutters on all the windows, so you can make the apartment very dark for sleeping. We had no issues with noise disturbance. We made simple breakfast (eggs) and dinner meals (pasta and salad) in the kitchen most days. There is a market very close to the apartment, which makes food shopping easy. There are a number of guide books, pamphlets, and maps in the apartment to help with planning your days.

Lucia was very prompt with responses. She arranged our transport to and from the airport at our request, including adjusting our pickup time for our return when we realized we would need extra time. Her son met us at the apartment and gave us the tour and simple instructions. Trashbags and laundry detergent were provided, along with toilet paper and paper towels, which makes life easier so you don't have to run out for supplies as soon as you arrive.

The neighborhood is quiet and charming, close to almost everything. We walked everywhere from the apartment, including the Forum, the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, and Villa Borghese, among others. We visited the Pantheon almost every day because it was so close, it's my personal favorite, and the piazza is a good place to grab a snack or hang out and relax and enjoy the atmosphere for awhile, especially in the evening. We recommend an early morning walk over to the Pantheon and also the Trevi fountain to enjoy them without the crowds (we went out at 7 am one morning - no other tourists were out and about yet, so we were really able to enjoy the sites and get some great photos). The Tuscan restaurant that is just around the corner from the apartment is very good. The waiter made suggestions and adapted our orders based on our preferences.

We would recommend the apartment to friends (as long as they could do stairs - it is up two flights as noted in the listing) and wouldn't hesitate to book it again when we next have the chance to return to Rome.

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying here, thankyou Lucia! Our Roman Christmas was perfect, and made very special by little touches such as a mini Christmas Tree, decorations, and a bottle of Prosecco and Chocolates on our arrival.

Lovely, clean, spacious apartment for our family of 4. Andrea was very kind, he helped load our luggage in the lift and showed us around the apartment. Comfortable beds....yes, even the pullout sofa beds. Fully equipped Kitchen was fantastic...especially to prepare our Christmas feast! We wanted for nothing! There are also a great range of Trattoria's, Osteria's and Restaurants close by, if you don't want to cook.

Large bathroom with nice hot shower and great water pressure was perfect after wandering the streets of Rome. Washing machine was very easy to use and there were plenty of drying wracks for our clothes. Never having been to Rome before, we had no idea about which area to stay....this location was perfect! We walked to nearly all the major sights and loved it! There is also easy to use public transport close by, but we just loved wandering the streets.

Lucia was very easy to communicate with, answering all our emails promptly and organising our Taxi Transfers for us....Grazie...so very greatly appreciated!!

I would definitely stay in this apartment again & would recommend our family and friends to stay here also.

We had 2 months travelling, and this apartment felt like our home away from home.

Once again, thankyou so very much Lucia!
