Relax in a Cozy, Skylit Yurt at a Farm Animal Sanctuary

Enjoy a peaceful stay at a gorgeous farm animal sanctuary and certified wildlife habitat.

Our hand-built Yurt has bunk beds with a full-size and queen-size mattress, and a full-size air mattress is also available on request. The Yurt also features a skylight, a cozy reading nook with an oversized egg chair, a writing desk, and a working wood stove. Guests have access to bathroom facilities, including a hot shower, as well as a kitchenette with hot plate, coffee maker, mini-fridge, sink, water cooler, plates, and cutlery, in a separate unit next door.

Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge is a forever home to over 100 rescued ducks, geese, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, and turkeys, with beautiful species-specific habitats designed by a professional architect. Guests can walk the sanctuary grounds between 9-4. If you'd like to meet the animals in their habitats, you can sign up to volunteer, sign up on a weekend with a Tour & Explore event, and/or book a private tour for up to ten people.
