We had a wonderful stay with our family of 5. The location just 2 blocks from the beach is amazing, and the private pool/hot tub/patio helped keep our days fun-filled and relaxing. The house itself is indeed charming, capturing the historical aspect in several areas, with all modern amenities, and decor that perfectly fits the Galveston vibe. The pool was being cleaned for about an hour upon our arrival - much appreciated that this was taken care of for us, but a slight delay for kids to hop in after a long travel day. There were multiple local restaurant and shopping recommendations on the chalkboard in the breakfast nook - we tried several and had a great experience at each. Overall, this place is excellent, and our host did a great job ensuring we had an amazing stay.
