Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is very special to our family. My husband’s father built the Play & Stay Bayview Getaway (which is our guest house) and my parents built the By the Bay Getaway home that we now host for them while they’re traveling.
Because of that, these homes aren’t just vacation rentals to us—they’re part of our family story. We love being able to share them with guests and welcome people into a place that has meant so much to our families over the years.

Our properties are unique because they were built by our families and are personally cared for by us. Since we live just around the corner, we’re able to stay very involved and make sure everything is comfortable and well maintained for our guests.
The homes are fully gated and offer plenty of space for parking—including room for boats and trailers—which makes them great for fishing trips or coastal getaways. Guests also love the proximity to local fishing piers, public boat ramps, and nearby attractions.
You’ll enjoy a relaxed coastal atmosphere while still being just a short drive from great destinations like Kemah Boardwalk, NASA Johnson Space Center, and Galveston Island.
Most importantly, we try to make every stay feel welcoming, easy, and memorable.
