About this property

Spacious retreat, gateway to the Olympic Peninsula .

We are in a friendly, uncrowded, quiet neighborhood, This private apartment is the perfect home base for your trip. With 1500 square feet of living space,, we can accomodate up to 6 guests. The large open floor plan connects a comfortable living room, small workspace, dining area, and full kitchen. Two large bedrooms, a full bath, and a laundry room provide plenty of space to move about. This ground floor apartment provides a comfortable and inviting central location from which to explore the Northwest corner of the Olympic peninsula. We live quietly upstairs; the entrances and parking are on opposite sides ofthe home.
We are 1/2 mile west of the Hood Canal Floating Bridge, on the edge of Port Ludlow. Summer days we often have deer in the yard, and eagles soaring above, watching the shoreline for fish. Our yard has a private patio, fruit trees, a barbecue, fire pit, and partial views of the mountains and water. There is a trail through the woods to the nearby shoreline. It's a great place to work, or relax and unwind. Pick fruit or berries in season, relax on the patio, walk to the beach. cook oysters on the grill. Or use it as a base camp from which to take day trips in every direction.
