The Space:

Nestled into the Ponderosa pines of Black Butte Ranch, you’ll find this expansive home, perfect for your next family or friend getaway. There are also two extra twin mattresses stored under the bunks for additional sleeping space.



Begin in the great room, with soaring ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, wet bar, and TV. After you’ve mixed a drink, pass through the dining room, and take a moment to admire the gorgeous natural-wood dining table with ample seating. Ready to cook for a crowd? There is plenty of countertop space in the airy, updated kitchen, which features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and lots of storage. In the media/bunk room you’ll find a kitchenette with another fridge, as well as a perfect table for card games, a TV, a comfy sectional, and four bunk beds. Upstairs is one bedroom with a TV and access to a second-floor deck. Downstairs, you’ll find four more bedrooms (one of them being the bunk room), also with TVs. There is one primary bedroom downstairs while the other is upstairs.



Once you’ve got the lay of the land, slide open the glass doors onto your deck, with lots of seating, a relaxing new hot tub, a gas grill, and a view of the golf course and pines. Shoot some hoops in the driveway, relax on a chaise, or hop on one of the bikes in the three-car garage: you can’t go wrong at this gorgeous family-friendly getaway.



The resort features over 1800 acres of stunning, forest-filled landscape, including over 18 miles of hiking and biking trails. You will have access to three indoor and outdoor pools, a shared hot tub, championship golf courses, tennis courts, and a spa. In the winter, the grounds are ideal for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Note that some activities may have a fee. Motorcycles are not permitted within the ranch or on any of the Black Butte properties.

Brought a party of 10 to enjoy a Christmastime mountain retreat. This house was so spacious! The bunk room was great for the kids, and the private hot tub was enjoyed by all. Would bring the extended family back in the future.

Relaxing Escape in the Woods

We enjoyed our stay and the spacious amenities. We used the nice, well-maintained hot tub, a nice kitchen with air fryer mode, a mini bar, a big TV, an updated deck, and the paved trails for walking through the neighborhoods.

Amazing spacious home

Awesome home. Tons of space for everyone. All bedrooms are spacious with big comfy beds. Bunk room for the kids was perfect.

Great for Families

Every couple had their own space and we had plenty of space as a group. The children loved the bunk room and game space! It does take awhile to get to the main entrance but we used the restaurants, the pool, the stables, the golf course, the bikes, the basketball & the tennis courts! There was something for everyone. Wonderful Family Time!

Very nice home. Great location near golf course and very quiet and peaceful. Awkward situation with bunk room which accommodates 4 guests. There is no bathroom facility for that room and guests would have to pass through laundry room and kitchen to find one. Fortunately we had cancellations and didn’t use that room.Upon arrival we had no code for key lock boxes.When we phoned property manager they had to go through several sets of numbers to get the proper codes.Would love to visit again .Thank you, Richard Ogan

Great family vacation home !

Lazy acres had plenty of room for our 5 grand children and 6 adults. Plenty of interior room and a large deck to fit everyone. Hot tub was very clean. Extra refrigerator in bunk room was a big plus for extra groceries. Location of the home is amazing. All of the bikes were serviced and ready to go . We had a great t8me. We look forward to returning!

Beware

The host fee is excessive. We stayed 2 nights and the host fee was nearly the same as the price for two nights. In addition we paid the service fee to VRBO and taxes. The property is very nice but the host fee is unreasonable. Of course our choice but just beware.

Upon arrival, we were told to remove our shoes in the house. We did so but after discovering our feet/socks were filthy, we stopped. The kitchen counters were disgustingly dirty. The living room had potatoe chip piece on the coffee table/end tables. BBQ was filthy and unusable. Garage was locked and it took 6 hours to get instructions on how to get in. Not sure how this is an 'Excellent ' rated house????

Mixed Feelings

This home is great for a large family, or multiple families with kids. The best feature was a separate kids bunk room that allowed the cousins in our group to have their own space and to bond with each other. All the adults loved that. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and seasonings, dishes, etc. We all had our own spaces and the large family dinning area and living room were great. The reason I did not give it a higher rating is due to the lack of response from Vacasa to maintenance issues we repeatedly reported that could have been dealt with. Maintenance issues always arise with any home, as a renter, it would have been nice to get someone to actually respond to my calls - calls that the rental instructions encourage renters to make for any issues. A running and leaking toilet, no blinds in one of the adult bedrooms, broken driveway lights with exposed "hot" electrical wires and an overflowing and smelly septic system (which did finally get resolved on our next to last day after my son demanded a response) all lead me to rate the stay at a 3.

Lots of space, next to National Forest

Lots of room for our family with 5 bedrooms, a big comfortable living room and very well supplied kitchen. The house was comfortable, we loved the bunk room and the fireplace and the views.
