Pros:The location was great, easy to access, and easy to go to other towns and places.The place was spacious even for 3 adults; we never felt cramped.The amount of towels and toiletries was appreciated.The bed was comfortable.There was ample parking in the back of the home.Areas of improvement:We had an ant issue, especially in the kitchen area and sometimes other places (which we were understanding about; we were directed to get ant spray, we felt like this was not our issue to address and was inappropriately handled)There were people on the property we were sure of; we were not uncomfortable or anything, but it was unexpected. They were doing lawn work very early in the morning, which did wake us up.Better communication: When we arrived, we were not aware that there would be no power (it was scheduled). It would have been nice to know that.General comments:The bathroom has no curtain for the window. So the guest in the next cottage may be able to see you.Be aware that there is no generator; we lost power several times, sometimes for hours at a time. We also lost water once.Parking was ample, but it was confusing where to park with the other guests in their cottages and a surplus of random cars in the back.There are not many kitchen tools, there are pots and pans.

We appreciate the nice comments and would like to address the litany of the negative ones. We've been Premier Hosts since 2016 with over 20 properties and this property is brand new. The ants are tiny ghost ants which literally every house has on the island. The owner had you pick up a can of ant spray was he was off the island that day and had no way of getting it to you. Not sure why you would be surprised for seeing other people as our listing clearly states and shows images this is a property with 3 rental cottages. The landscaper comes once per week at 10:00 am, so not overly early, but sorry if that disturbed you. Power outages, as you know from speaking with the owner before writing this review, have nothing to do with our cottages, it was a regional outage, so that is a complaint for the government. We even state in our pre-arrival packet each guest receives sometimes the power goes out on the island. The window in the shower is one way glass and does NOT allow anyone to look in. We do not advertise having a generator so not sure how this is a complaint. Again the brief loss of water you mention was the city water system was out for 45 minutes while they fixed a pipe in town and had nothing to do with our cottage. The parking is wide open on the property and there can be no confusion where to park. Overall very disappointing to get 8 different complaints on a beautiful brand new property. No mention of early check in. We feel this review is very unfair. Thank you.
