Deux Dunes est luxueusement isolĂ©e, situĂ©e comme la seule maison sur un mile de la plage de sable rose de poudre-doux. Avec fenĂȘtres du sol au plafond les murs de remplissage et de multiples dĂ©brayages, vous ĂȘtes immergĂ© dans une vue imprenable sur l'ocĂ©an de l'intĂ©rieur et Ă  l'extĂ©rieur. Une immense terrasse entoure la maison, Ă©quipĂ©e de chaises longues, table de pique-nique et des chaises longues avant et arriĂšre pour une vraie vie en plein air. Descendez du pont, sur le sable et Ă  droite dans l'eau turquoise. Pas besoin d'emballer un sac de plage! La terrasse couverte donne de l'ombre et de belles vues de sa position Ă©levĂ©e au-dessus de la plage. La douche extĂ©rieure privĂ©e offre un nettoyage rafraĂźchissante tout en admirant les vagues.

La deuxiÚme maison est l'espace privé et ne est jamais occupée lorsque deux Dunes est loué.

Explorez les récifs au large dans le kayak à fond transparent et amenez vos tubas. La piscine est excellente avec une belle fond de sable juste à cÎté de la maison ainsi que d'un fond sablonneux «pool de récif" à marée basse.

La maison dispose d'un grand lit confortable avec des draps de luxe, Chesterfield inclinable, HDTV DVD et MĂ©diathĂšque avec 700 films et 100 Ă©missions de tĂ©lĂ©vision, station d'accueil pour iPod, salle de bain complĂšte, cuisine Ă©quipĂ©e avec mĂ©langeur haute puissance pour les cocktails, un accĂšs Internet, A / C et des ventilateurs de plafond. D'immenses fenĂȘtres sur trois murs fournissent des tonnes de lumiĂšre et des vues spectaculaires sur l'ocĂ©an. Trois grandes portes Ă  pied sur la terrasse et le pont.

A quelques minutes de là se trouve la ville de Palmetto Point, qui fournit les restaurants et les magasins. Les proches de nombreuses autres plages, la ville du port de gouverneur, Sky Beach Club, l'aéroport (seulement 17 miles de distance), l'ßle Farm et d'autres attractions.

Directement derriÚre la maison est un lac intérieur pittoresque avec une variété de poissons, d'oiseaux abondantes possibilités regardent et couchers de soleil spectaculaires.

Fantastic place and best location on the island in our opinion. This simple and well located VRBO had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway from real life. The snorkling right in front of the house was the best we found on the island. That said, it was worth our time to visit some other beaches, most notably Ten Bay, which is very close and has a completely different feel. The local host was extremely accommodating and we ordered dinner from her delivered one night. I highly recommend doing this your first night there before you have time to get groceries or figure out a meal plan. The mattress in the unit is firm but comfortable. I normally struggle with firm mattresses, but slept very well on this one.We will certainly be returning

Location, Location, Location!This is a wonderful place. In our 8 day stay, only two people walked by the house. Don't overpack. The house had everything that we needed. We discovered that if you leave the house to the left (South and East) you will encounter a paved road in about 5 minutes that takes you to Queens Highway and it takes less time to get to GH than if you go out to the right (North and West) and passed Qnique's. Also, there is a great little grocery store, Midway Cost Cutter... to the left out this paved road.Again, just a wonderful stay. The photos are accurate. There is a "private" ocean pool right in front of the house. At low tide and later it is wonderful. We drove to Tarpum Bay and got fresh Lobster and grouper. Put the church St Columbus in you GPS and then drive about 25 yards passed it and Sandra and Alexander will sell you fish for a good price. We bought four lobster tails and about a 3 pound grouper (cleaned) for 45. Alexander just brought them in on his boat.But the last house you pass on the way in to Two Dunes is now blue, not pink. This is coming in as the directions tell you. Try this place, you will love it. Bring books to read and think of a romantic vacation.Dan and Sue

Better and better

We love returning to Two Dunes - each trip has been better than before. The newness never wears off - instead it becomes enhanced by our familiarity of the environment. We keep thinking we'll venture out elsewhere on the island, and other than groceries or picking up takeaway, we cannot leave this place.

Pros & Cons

We stayed at Two Dunes for a week and had a nice time. Like any place, there were pros and cons. Pros: Absolutely gorgeous view from the house! Literally two walls of windows, and it was so peaceful to sit and watch the water, birds, etc. The unit was perfectly sized and appointed for two people. We loved the central location on the island, which made it easy to explore north or south. And the position of the house with the ocean on one side and the lake on the other was great. I’m a bird watcher and the variety of birds on the lake was incredible!Cons: The mattress, while newer, is REALLY firm. A mattress pad would go a long way toward alleviating soreness. The water situation
 We’ve visited other Bahamas out islands before and are familiar with use of cistern water, but I will admit that the coloration of this water was a little off putting (ever so slightly yellow/brown, like very weak tea). Other places we’ve stayed with cistern water, the cisterns are usually buried so the water isn’t exposed to light. Insects
 There was an abundance of super teeny tiny bugs (looked like ants, but smaller) crawling around the kitchen sink and bathroom. I totally understand that this is the tropics, and these insects were so tiny, it would be virtually impossible to keep them out. But maybe spraying more regularly would help? They were present when we arrived, and we were meticulous with cleaning, food storage, kept food waste in freezer, etc. Just something to be aware of.

Perfect Getaway!

Upon your arrival at Two Dunes you will be transported to your own private paradise! The unassuming but impeccably kept cottage sits directly on a quiet beach with spectacular views. Communication with the owner and concierge was excellent and prepared us for our "Perfect Getaway". Our only regret was not having Natasha cook us a meal, but next time we will!

Amazing retreat for two!!

This place is truly amazing! The house was perfect for the two of us on our 25th anniversary trip. The views are simply magical! There are so many fish to see while snorkeling 20 feet off this beach in front of the house. There were also two huge lobsters that we saw right in front of the house. And to say you are secluded is an understatement. The island of Eleuthera was so beautiful that pictures or words don’t do it justice. We visited 10 beaches in our week stay and they were all unique and amazing. The driving on the left side of the road was quite the experience too lol. We cant wait to return for another adventure at Two Dunes!

Great Getaway

Two dunes

The house is right on a beautiful beach. It was not difficult to find. It is secluded so bring everything you need for the first day or two. There are grocery stores not too far but once you get there you won’t want to leave. Natasha brought us in dinner the first night and it was delicious.

Beautiful home on secluded beach

The home was extremely comfortable living on the beachfront for the week. I think the beach was perhaps the best on the island. Gorgeous sunsets from the back deck with a bottle of wine and sunrises on the front with a cup of coffee. The beach is extremely private and secluded as we saw maybe a half dozen people all week. The place comes with two ocean kayaks which were fun to use in exploring the local reefs. Also an outdoor BBQ for grilling that freshly caught fish. Kitchen is well equipped should you choose to stay in and cook your own meals. Definitely will come back again.

Great place to stay

Steps to the beach. Stayed for 4 nights. Walked both directions on the beach multiple times and never saw a single person. The house was clean and had everything we needed for cooking all of our meals.

Two dunes stay

No jetted tub as advertised, curtains very dirty, one long power outage and two short ones (which means no water usage and had to use a bucket of water from the ocean to flush toilet). Generator never started the entire stay even though a repairman came out to fill an empty propane tank. Reported to Natasha several times and responses were slow or not at all. Enjoyed the seclusion and views and Rachel was pleasant to deal with. Felt like the property was overpriced.

Our Third Time

This place is magical, and just keeps getting better. Updates to the interior and appliances were pleasant. Make use of Island Farms nearby - you'll want to stay here as much as possible and enjoy the privacy of your own coral pool.

Better Each Time

We thought the property was perfect last year. Well, we were wrong. Spruced up deck with some new boards, and a fresh coat of paint all around. The back porch with covering is completely redone, looked like a lot of work...everything so well done, 2 thumbs way up. We are looking forward to next year. P.S.: Thank you Natasha for helping with the rental car, best one we've had so far.

Exactly what we needed - perfection!

We had a wonderful two-week stay at Two Dunes. Everything was great and we can't imagine a better place to have stayed. Depending on your length of stay you may want to arrange a 5 gal bottle of water to be at the cottage. It was about $6. There's no real point in shopping around for rental cars - they all seem to be about the same price and Natasha was really convenient. We rented the car for 9 out of the 14 days that we were there. We had some thunderstorms and there were several days that the seas were very rough (but beautiful). We lost power on almost a daily basis (usually for less than an hour) and one time for over 16 hours. The cottage was definitely the highlight and we were quite content to sit on the deck or the couch (depending on no-seeums) and watch the water for hours. We went to Harbour Island, Spanish Wells, and Lighthouse Point. We used dune buggies for Lighthouse Point - some people that we had met said that it was one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and it did not disappoint. We've left the contact information in the Guest Book for that trip. We enjoyed Spanish Wells more than Harbour Island. The bakery in Governor's Harbour makes the best bread. Cookies at the Bakery in Tarpum Bay. Barn House Bar and Grill at Wemyss Bight for a full plate of conch fritters for only $5 and an incredible beach. Thanks Rachel and Natasha for a perfect stay - we're already making plans to come back.

Peace and tranquility

Christmas winds and gorgeous Atlantic surf. Private crescent beach, beach combing, walking, reading type of holiday. Simple clean beachhouse living - ideal for people looking for peace and quiet. We’ll be back!

Fantastic Location

My husband and I decided to spend our Christmas holiday on Eleuthera and Two Dunes was a fantastic location to just sit back and relax. Rachel was very responsive to all of my questions leading up to our stay. When we arrived, we found that the house had everything that we could need. We did experience one issue with the generator which was very quickly resolved by Natasha and we had no further issues after. The only reason I'm giving an overall 4 stars instead of 5, is that the bed is way past its lifespan and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately we woke up daily with back and neck pain and while the bed is not the highlight of the house, a good night's sleep is crucial for fully enjoying your stay. Bed aside, we loved the location and would happily stay again.

Beautiful house on the beach

This home and property are incredible for anyone that enjoys beaches and the ocean. I visited over a dozen beaches on Eleuthera and the “private beach” right in front of the house was easily the best. And if you like privacy, this is the place to stay. We barely saw a single person during our stay. Thhesunrises are incredible each morning while enjoying coffee on the porch or wine during the sunsets. The house comes with many beach amenities as well as two kayaks. I had an incredible experience kayaking in front of the house accompanied by a pod of dolphins and sea turtles. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen has all the amenities necessary should you decide to cook. A barbecue was also nice to cook the fresh fish we bought back from the local market. I would not hesitate to return again.
