Thoughtfully appointed with rustic Western character and modern conveniences, this inviting retreat offers a distinctive setting for year-round mountain adventures, from snowy days on the slopes to exploring nearby forest trails.

Inside, natural wood, stone accents, and textiles inspired by the American West create a warm, atmospheric living space. The fully equipped kitchen features a breakfast bar, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy a relaxed start to the day. After hours spent outdoors, settle in with the 55-inch Smart TV and DirectTV service with more than 200 channels, or take advantage of the high-speed WiFi to plan your next adventure. A private washer and dryer adds convenience throughout your stay.

The sleeping arrangements offer a king-size bed in the private bedroom, while the open loft provides additional space with a queen bed, a double bed, and a twin bed. The layout is well suited for families or groups who appreciate a rustic cabin experience with flexible sleeping options.

Great stay, nice place. It was a bit dark inside, but otherwise it was great. Nice and quiet and a lovely quiet area for a mountain stay, a lovely mountain cabin. The fenced yard for the dog was fabulous!!

Absolutely will stay again!

Our 3rd time to stay at this house and we love it. Beautiful, quiet, relaxing and so close and convenient to Wolf Creek. Whether skiing, visiting the hot springs or hiking, this house is wonderful.

Perfect mountain get away!

Kit Carson was the perfect mountain get away. The fishing was great in the area. Temps were great and our 4 legged friend had plenty of room to run in the backyard with out fear of him getting out. We can't wait to stay again!

We loved this cabin!! It had everything we needed and more. Super clean and literally so nice. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again, hopefully longer next time. The beds were comfy and it was very spacious.

Mountain get away

The cabin was the perfect little place to stay. It was spacious and cozy. The yard was large and perfect for our 4 legged friend to run around in with out worrying that he would get out of the fence. We loved sitting on the porch to enjoy the moring and evening mountain air.

Beautiful cabin

This is a beautiful, spacious cabin with a wonderful full kitchen. We loved the large parking area and lighting around the property. It’s also close to the ATV trails and South Fork businesses. The people in town are super friendly and helpful. It was a great getaway for my husband and I.

Log home with generous parking

We came to the area to ride our side x sides. The log home is beautiful with a lovely kitchen and laundry. We enjoyed the back porch view. The generous parking was a highlight of the property, with room for 2 pickups pulling enclosed trailers.....with room to spare.

Great getaway

My husband and i loved our stay at Kit Carson cabin. The home is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our favorite parts of our stay were the front and back porches, great places to watch the amazing sunrises and sunsets. Parking is great and the neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. We'll stay here again!
