Charming Waterfront Cabin Near Olympic National Park And Sequim
About Jim Hardie
My wife and I live in Sequim, WA with our golder retriever named Bear. We enjoy hiking and horseback riding in Olympic National Park. We also enjoy sailing, flying and travel.
Jim Hardie purchased this Cabin in 2012
Why Jim Hardie chose Port Angeles East
What we enjoy the most about our cabin is sitting out under the trees watching the birds and other wildlife that frequent the creek and the wonderful sound of cascading water flowing down the creek.

This place is perfect if you're looking for solitude but still want to be close to town. Listening to the rushing water is a great tonic for stress. We enjoyed exploring Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. The house is well appointed and even comes with giant, tasty cookies!
Love the tranquility, everything in the cottage is thought off, a very special place. We came from Australia, wasn’t disappointed.
That relaxing sound of rapids
Wonderful place for our four night stay, pretty close to the city and very cozy and warm.Best was waking up in super comfy bed with sound of near by rapids and having coffee on the balcony above river watching sunrise.
Awesome!! Pure relaxation!!
Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Hardy for sharing your beautiful cabin. We enjoyed our visit to see our children, and can not wait to come back.
Very cute and cozy!
Perfect little cabin on the river. With the winter coming, the trees were not as dense so you can see a bit of the neighbors and get a good glimpse of all the deer watering by the creek!
Cozy and comfortable stay
We had a wonderful stay here for two nights. Its about 12 minutes from all the great restaurants in Port Angeles and we used it as a home base to explore the Olympic Peninsula - absolutely beautiful. The cabin was spotlessly clean, the bed super comfortable, and the hosts even left some homemade cookies welcoming us - such a nice touch!! We unfortunately couldn’t enjoy the porch overlooking the water as my husband is terrified of spiders, but that is to be expected in the woods at the height of spider season :) Overall we had a lovely stay and recommend it as a quiet, peaceful retreat!!
Our waterfront cabin is in the perfect location for visiting Olympic National Park and is also close to the ferry terminal for excursions to Victoria,Canada.
