15-person bachelorette weekend

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommend! A group of 15 of us stayed here over the weekend and we had such a great time! It was incredibly spacious and had enough bathrooms that 15 women were never fighting for space. :) It was also super well located - walking distance to Magazine Street, a block or two from the trolley, and Ubers only ever a few minutes away. There's a keyless entry and an alarm system so we felt very safe. There was also a liquor store and a Walgreen's a block or two away so it was really easy to stock up on amenities for the weekend. Also the host was so nice and super accomodating - our flights out were late (and then delayed!) and since no one was checking in until later she allowed us to have a late checkout. She also responds like lightning to text messages, and gave us some great recommendations of where to go in NOLA that turned out to be perfect for our group.

This was a fabulous rental with a tremendous host.

  • 5 of 5

This is a very nice house with lots of bedrooms, especially using the cottage as well as the main house. We had a large group and the accommodations were perfect. Lisa was also so helpful, from offering suggestions on restaurants to delivering some packages we had sent to her in advance, to responding immediately anytime some issue arose. The neighborhood is fabulous - close to the quarter, but removed, in a quiet part of the garden district, but also close to Magazine Street and to the St. Charles streetcar. The house was clean and spacious, the kitchen had modern appliances, and the patio between the house and the cottage was a great place to sit outside and have a glass of wine. I highly recommend this house!

This was the perfect house for us!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house and the house behind it for our large family who was in town for our daughter's wedding. It was wonderful. Plenty of room. Well appointed. We loved the front porch. The whole family spent evenings on the porch drinking wine and telling stories. Everyone who stayed here said it was the perfect house!

Wonderful main house with style and charm

  • 4 of 5

The main house is truly charming, with an open, airy layout, beautifully renovated kitchen and luxe master suite. The other rooms are a good size and have all the appointments a guest needs. The porch was amazing! It was like a welcome mat to the neighborhood - we met several neighbors just by enjoying some fresh air. We ultimately did not use the cottage or rear yard. Would rent the front house again.

Easy to Enjoy

What a wonderful experience this property has to offer. Beautiful spacious rooms, fantastic modern kitchen and close to transportation. The St. Charles streetcar is three blocks away and connects to "everywhere else" one wants to see & experience in NOLA.

Perfect parent's-of-the-bride house!

  • 5 of 5

This home was the perfect spot for our large family to be able to stay together for our daughter's wedding. It very large and quite spacious which allowed all of us to have lots of room to spread out, as well as serve as command central for all of the tasks and errands that come with being the host family for a destination wedding. The online photos are good, but in person it exceeded our expectations. It is a gorgeously renovated charming old home with soaring ceilings, a fantastic and well stocked and appointed kitchen, and plenty of bathrooms for all. As the description states there is laundry, irons, blow dryers, plenty of towels, and everything else you need to stay in comfort. It is spotlessly clean. My husband and I so enjoyed the quiet oasis the master bedroom suite provides with the great bathroom and huge walk-in closet, which was perfect for hanging the bride's gown with the high bars! Our older sons loved staying in the guest house in back as well. The huge marble topped kitchen island was a happy place for all to gather. It really is in a great location as stated in the description. For us it was within a 5 minute drive to the wedding venue which was a bonus. Lisa had given me a couple of market names close by for groceries, but we ended up shopping at the Walmart Super Center which was a couple of minutes away by car. We didn't get to take advantage of the local restaurants, etc that are close by due to our schedule, but others in our party did and loved walking to Magazine St., especially District Donuts. A local man also told us this house is in a perfect location to be able to walk to the Mardi Gras parades. Too bad we couldn't have stayed 2 more weeks for that! We rented a mini van to take care of the many errands, and there is no problem with on street (free) parking. Lisa was very nice in our phone conversation, and is responsive to emails and texts to answer any questions and she is very accommodating. She may get some repeat business from others in our group because they were so impressed with this house. I would 100% recommend this to others. Thank you Lisa, this home made our special weekend even more memorable!
