Why Neil Malik chose Fox Point
Brasil is such a truly unique yacht. The lines of the boat originate from a period dating from the 1950's to early 1960's and the high, pointed bow and open stern transom are Geerd Hendel signatures. This design is pedigree as Geerd Hendel served as the draftsman for Star Burgess designing some of the most famous America's Cup boats in the 1930's and 1940's. A step inside and you are taken back to a time of classic yacht taste- no overornamentation or gaudy sofa fabrics. Instead, varnished battens, heavy use of teak and mahogany, and classic liners reflect a well appointed yacht.

It was a great time to spend with family. Space was small but overall it was great.
I have to agree with most of the reviews that said shows age and not really clean.
Although there are some negatives, the linens were clean, the beds were comfortable. The whole experience was a lot of fun. We came to Providence for waterfire and the location of Yacht Brazil was perfect. I don’t see how the yacht can sleep 6 unless you are including the hammock. I would say it sleeps 5 people tops. We had no issues accessing the marina or yacht but could not figure out how to secure the yacht when we went out so we made sure to bring our valuables with us. Would definitely stay again.
We had everything we need lot's of room for the four of us..
We had a fun time plenty of room for the four of us..
Interesting to say the least.
We were excited to come aboard and have a nice night on our way thru the area. It was interesting to say the least. The boat REALLY shows its age. Everything seemed to work fine. There were several leaks in the boat and the water came in in certain places dripping here and there. If you are looking for cleanliness, this is not the boat for you. The boat was rented out next to us who partied until 4am. I think next time I would spend more money to have a cleaner place to lay my head, After an evening of walking around barefoot on the boat inside everyones feet were black. Let me say we did not have a bad experience but the pictures must be old because this boat is not what it appears to be.
We rented two boats for a bachelorette and they couldn't have been more perfect. And you can get pizza delivered to the gate.
Something Different and should have a middle grade.
The Brasil is a Grand Old Lady who has been tied to a dock and used for a novelty overnighter. Unfortunately she needs a lot of work. Outside is in terrible shape, the inside is cleaner but still has not been maintained. Rugs on the floor are filthy, linen on beds are old. Plenty of utensils for other things. The bathroom facilities were less than good. It's a neat place to stay for a short visit. This stay was our Anniversary and wanted something different and we got it. the location is noisy from the night clubs but the Power Plant whistles 24/7. Stop the noise by closing the windows. Would like to have one of my own but would keep it up better than the current help.
