This property is located in one of the few gated communities on Lake Chautauqua. Included in rental is use of a large in-ground swimming pool and tennis courts.
This condo is lake front (closest building to the lake), and is equipped much better than the average rental. In kind, we expect our guests to take good care of our property. The property includes three bedrooms, two full baths, a living room, dining room, kitchen, and utility room with a washer and dryer. The unit has central air conditioning, a dishwasher, microwave oven, stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, and blender. There are two decks, one off the master bedroom, and one off the living room. There is also a wood-burning fireplace.
Parking is directly adjacent to the unit (literally steps away). The unit is in the middle level of the building, so access is very easy with only a few steps to get to the entrance. A gas barbeque grill is also provided on the entrance patio.
Rentals are mainly in the Spring/Summer/Fall, but we also accept reservations in winter months due to the close proximity of three major ski areas.
My wife and I are both professionals. We have been vacationing at Lake Chautauqua for over 20 years, and our children have always enjoyed these family vacations because there is always so much to do. We originally rented here, but then decided to buy one of the largest units in the complex since we like the area so much.

We live in Pittsburgh, and Chautauqua Lake is an easy 3 hour drive.
The lake area has many opportunities for outdoor fun. For those who are inclined to cultural events, Chautauqua Institution offers a myriad of choices, from theater, to concerts, movies, and other great activities. There is free admission to the grounds on Sunday.
Lakewood, a nearby community on the lake offers great shopping, restaurants, and other marina services.
Chautauqua Marina is just across the lake in Mayville for boat rentals and services. There are other great dining opportunities in Mayville, particularly, the Water Mark, House on the Hill, and Olive's.
Our condo is centrally located to all these locations. Enjoy breakfast on the balcony or a glass a wine, while viewing awesome sunsets. Our condo is equipped much better than the average rentals in the area. The is also great security provided by the gated community.
Chautauqua Lake Estates is a great place to spend a week. Beautiful lake views and fun heated pool. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We go back year after year! Condo nice and spacious for a family.
Love the condo but it was not cleaned well. Also very disappointed pool heater broken for entire stay.
Layout of this condo was perfect for our family. Grandma and Grandpa at one end bedroom with own bathroom. Mom and Dad in master, sharing bathroom with 3 children in adjoining bedroom. In between the two bedrm areas was large living and dining area with lots of seating and a convenient well stocked kitchen. Great views from two balconies. Every sunset was more beautiful than the last! The condo area was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend The Springs restaurant across from the fabulous Midway Park (great for under 10 kids). Also found great Swedish foods and souvenirs plus cheese and produce at Peterson's Farm near Jamestown. Disappointed that the pool wasn't open during the weekdays but the season doesn't really start until school is out in the area (much later than in our state). Midway Park was also only open on a limited basis.(weekends) The owner was very helpful when we had questions and answered his phone promptly and got a couple of small issues resolved very quickly. Hope to return in the future.
We stayed with another family for 2 nights over New Year's (there were 6 of us). Condo was nice, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the fireplace. Stove is old and electric but works fine.
We just got back from a week on the Lake and if you are looking for comfortable accommodations I would put this property high on your list. We came with both sets of Grandparents, and our young children. The property worked well for our group and was outfitted with nice washer dryer, HVAC, beds, dishwasher, and the atmosphere worked well. The children and our family enjoyed the heated pool and the grounds and trash service is really nice. We did not play tennis but seemed popular and looked like a lot of fun. Beautiful Golf course right next door, did not bring clubs but I would have played. We took the children's bikes and they loved riding around. The play ground by the lake was pretty nice and the kids loved it. Since fishing, boating, and water craft activity is traditionally why WE would go to the lake, we would probably not use this property again as we understood there is no dock access for non resident of the community. If they would allow us to dock our boat or a rental boat we would strongly consider this property. If your looking for a nice place to stay, good value, and water activity is not important, this place would be at the top of our list and we would absolutely stay here again.
The 3 bedroom condo was beautiful. Right on the lake with a beautiful view and the amenities of a condo (heated pool and tennis courts). It was well kept and well stocked. The owner was terrific to work with.
Located directly across the lake from Chautauqua Institution, which provides a myriad of activities all summer long
