Parklike Historic Estate au cœur de Louisville avec piscine et jardins

Stonecote est un domaine de 5 acres construit en 1920. Il est entièrement mis à jour et décoré professionnellement. Il dispose de 7 chambres et peut accueillir 16 personnes dans des lits. La maison principale comprend une cuisine gastronomique avec un garde-manger avec 2 réfrigérateurs, 2 fours muraux, 3 lave-vaisselle, une plaque de cuisson à gaz Viking, un refroidisseur de vin et des comptoirs en marbre Carrera. Le salon comporte plusieurs zones de conversation confortables, un piano à queue de bébé antique et une cheminée à bois. La grande salle à manger peut accueillir tout votre groupe. En outre, la grande salle de soleil offre un espace de réunion supplémentaire, moins formel, et dispose d'une télévision de 64 ". Le pool house comprend une cuisine complète supplémentaire, un coin salon avec une télévision de 64 pouces et une autre chambre avec salle de bains privative.

La piscine d'eau salée chauffée de 50 'x 25' est munie d'une fontaine de chasse, elle est entourée de jardins de plantes vivaces et possède un bassin pour bébés (la piscine est ouverte en saison, de la mi-mai à la fin septembre, en fonction de la météo).

Si vous voyagez avec des chevaux, l'écurie dispose de 5 stands et d'une salle de sellerie. Nous pouvons vous recommander de faire livrer du fourrage et du foin avant votre arrivée. Stonecote est entouré de beaux arbres matures et de jardins vivaces, à 10 minutes du centre-ville, du front de mer, à 10 minutes de Churchill Downs, à 20 minutes de Valhalla et du circuit de la PGA. Nous avons également un gardien sur place qui vit dans une remise située sur la propriété.

Veuillez noter que le tarif pour le Kentucky Derby est un montant forfaitaire de 25 000 USD du lundi qui précède le Derby au lundi suivant. S'il vous plaît envoyer une demande si vous êtes intéressé par la location de Stonecote pour la semaine du Derby.

Veuillez également noter qu’en raison des exigences de la ville de Louisville, nous ne sommes pas en mesure d’organiser des événements. Nous demandons également aux clients de respecter les "heures calmes" à partir de 22h chaque soir pour ne pas déranger les voisins.

The property is beautiful with a perfect balance of historic and modern. The large living room, family room, and dining room were perfect for spending time together with our group of 14. The pool was amazing! Very large and has lighting for night swims. The pool house patio had plenty of seating and outdoor fans in the covered area. The neighborhood was excellent. High end, safe, and only about 10 minutes to downtown. The owners were great communicators and available as needed. Great for a family vacation!

Stonecote was a fabulous house for a group of 9 senior women. Keith met us on site for a welcoming introduction. The grounds and home made us feel like queens on a historical plantation complete with rocking chairs on the porch. The large well stocked kitchen with many appliances, spices/condiments and cookware was much appreciated with all the chefs rotating around the beautiful marble counters. We also loved the classy dining room. Our favorite gathering place was the sunroom for our games and even a fashion show.....We liked the the proximity of the house to downtown Louisville where we did a historical walking tour, Slugger Museum, Churchill Downs and nightlife on Main Street....Lisa was delightful as my communication person and helpful with suggestions. We will be bragging about our Stonecote stay for months!

Outstanding hosts! Outstanding experience. We gathered for a sibling vacation and had a wonderful time. The accommodations were so comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond providing amenities like shampoo, body wash, dishwashing soap, pool towels, and so, so much more. The hosts were immediately responsive to our questions and answered promptly. Our family has decided we need look no further to find a location for our annual vacation. The pool was fabulous and we spent hours laughing and enjoying the time spent at the pool. There were eleven of us and we were very comfortable. This area and home is in such a beautiful part of Louisville. Our stay was so memorable. The home is big enough for our 14 people. Marble kitchen counters, and any glassware or serving platters you could dreaam of! The pool was absolutely amazing for all ages(2-73). There is a separated pool for the littles. Parks to run and walk in nearby!

This was the perfect spot for our family gathering! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. We were in Louisville for a special family event. We rented this house rather than getting everyone hotel rooms so we could all be together the whole time, and it did not disappoint! We used every bedroom and each one was beautifully furnished, spacious, and so comfortable, with plenty of closet and drawer space. The restrooms were also spacious, and were clean, stocked with very nice shower products. There were plenty of tubs for the kids in our group, but they all wanted to use the cool claw-foot tub in the main bedroom! The kitchen was high end and huge (big enough for all of us to do the everyone stands on the kitchen to talk thing)! Two large ovens, two refrigerators an extra ice maker, a giant island we used to serve meals from, and a nice eating area. We also used the large dining room and table with seating for 12-14 people! The cozy, welcoming sunroom was the central hang out! We had four kids - 1, 3, 4, and 10 years old. There was plenty indoor space for games and the little ones loved running laps around "the circle" on the main floor! We just missed pool season, but will absolutely return for a stay when it's open. We did have a couple staying in the pool house, which also had a great kitchen & family room. We give this property 28 thumbs up! Owners maintain historical feel and it is nicely kept inside and outside! We saw so many deer, including huge bucks, a coyote, birds, etc. Indoor & outdoor seating and hangout space galore! Fantastic, convenient location!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful historic home. It was spacious and very accommodating for our group, with thoughtful touches that made everyone feel comfortable. The location was absolutely fantastic—just minutes from everything, yet tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house is amazing! We had 4 couples and it worked so well. The host was very kind and helpful, we had no issues. It was a wonderful vacation and would love to stay there again! The kitchen was very large with a great island and bar area attached for all us to hang out and a great gathering room attached that we all could lounge around in. Deer wondered the property…a beautiful safe area!

I could not recommend staying here more. We had a group of 8 and we all had more than enough room. The house is great, the pool house is great, everything was clean and the hosts walked us through the house to explain everything given the size which was really helpful. The hosts were awesome. Also the pool is really really nice if you come when it is open. The neighborhood is really nice and location convenient.

Gorgeous Home with Great Character

The home was absolutely beautiful, the layout of the bedrooms really allowed our volleyball team families to have personal space but still be together. The property is fabulous! Our group absolutely loved the stay. we liked the property so much that we found ourselves cutting our visits throughout Kentucky short to get back to the house to enjoy the accommodation.

The pool (open seasonally - mid-May to mid-September) with shooting fountains is a great place for kids to play and the adults to relax on spring and summer evenings. Stonecote feels like a secluded, private park and is a perfect setting for many different occasions. The historic, hometown feel of Louisville makes it a great place to visit any time of the year.
