Located on the first floor of a historic home, Hall & Oaks has been redesigned and lovingly renovated by a local Savannah architect. A ton of style has been packed into this one-bedroom, one-bath garden apartment on East Hall Street, which can sleep up to four Lucky guests.

The spacious kitchen space is a chef’s dream, complete with stainless steel appliances and exposed brick and reclaimed wood walls. Enjoy coffee at the breakfast bar or a glass of wine while cooking dinner. You’ll have everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The reclaimed wood wall continues into the living room, which has an inlaid beam ceiling, and sleek, mid-century furnishings. Relax on the large sectional sofa in front of the wall-mounted flat screen TV. The living area also features a writing desk, upright piano, and queen-size Murphy bed. The bright and cozy queen-size bedroom is anchored by a rich wood sleigh bed and dresser, and the adjacent bathroom has a large walk-in tile shower with rain showerhead

You’ll be just two blocks from 700 Drayton, where you’ll find the best shrimp and grits in town, so be sure to stop in for brunch. Kroger, the only full grocery store in the Historic District, but you’ll be close enough to all of Savannah’s dining options to never need to cook!

The rental was wonderful. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. Something in the ice maker leaked water onto floor twice. Everything was was very clean but the floor. It looked clean but our feet were black on the bottom. Needs a good old fashioned mopping. The entry steps are difficult to navigate. A hand rail would be helpful and safer. All in all I would still rate our stay there a 9. Would love to come back.

Loved this place! Exactly as described and pictured, if not better. It's located across the street from a Kroger's and a Dollar Tree while still being in the historic district. If there had to be a downside, it would be the street parking but it wasn't a problem for us. Would definitely stay here again!!!

We definitely recommend the Hall & Oaks to anyone new to Savannah! Although it was more than a walking distance to the downtown area, parking throughout Savannah is quite easy and we always found a parking spot (plus after 5pm it's free!!). No problem parking on the street in front of the house either at any point during our stay. Within walking distance was the Kroger (literally right in front of the house- the map makes it look further), Forsythe Park and a little unique coffee shop!

It was easy. Lucky Savanah was always there when we had questions. The place was clean, cool (temp) and comfortable and quiet. A bit of a walk to downtown especially in the heat but a quick ride by car.

Sometimes pictures are misleading when booking rentals-- this was not the case for Hall and Oaks Loved the location with ample parking and 5 minute walk to Starbucks and a Kroger Cozy 1 bedroom apt that was clean and very well appointed with everything you might need for your stay
